Bakugou x Midoriya

No quirks au! Bakugou and Midoriya think they know each other. They were childhood friends, they grew up together and are in the same class is high school. But that changes when they meet each other online, in a game where their roles are reversed.

Bakugou Katsuki was a busy man with a busy life. Being at the top of his class didn't happen because of slacking off. He didn't have time to play stupid dumb games with his stupid and maybe even dumber friends. Kaminari had been trying to get him to play this new game, something based on roleplay and fighting? Katsuki didn't even know the name, but he had flat out rejected it anyway. That dunce face should be focussing on his grades rather than games anyway.

"Come on dude! It'll be fun" Kirishima smiled.
"Kami and I already have accounts so we can meet up in game and help you get started and stuff. Not studying for one evening isn't the end of the world"
"Fuck off shitty hair" Katsuki grunted, pushing the arm off his shoulder, an annoying habit of the red haired teen.
"Unlike you two fuck ups, I'm actually trying to get into a decent university after high scho-"

"Whaa! I-I'm so sorry! I didn't see where I was going! I-I'm really sorry Kacchan!" Izuku yelped as he bumped into the ash blonde. They were in the same class but the difference between them couldn't be bigger. Everyone could see who the superior one was just by looking at them.
"Watch out where the fuck you're going shitnerd!"
"S-sorry!" he yelped again, quickly moving out of the way.

Katsuki scoffed, continuing to walk like nothing had happened.
"Do you really have to be so harsh on Midoriya?" Kirishima asked.
"He didn't mean to bump into you, you know?"
"It's not just that! Deku is just a fucking loser and his presence alone is enough to irritate me!" Katsuki growled.
"Aren't the two of you, like, childhood friends?" Kaminari asked.

"Shut up!"

"Aw, come on man!" Kirishima laughed, blocking Katsuki's path.
"At least try the game, okay? If you don't like it then that's fine! But even you need some relaxation sometimes. You're always so on edge"
Katsuki glared at him, considering his options.
"If I play this stupid game of yours once, you'll stop yammering about it to me, got it?"
"Yes! Oh this will be fun!" Kaminari exclaimed, happy that their stern friend had finally budged.

Kirishima helped him set it up after school, sending him an invite to their party so they could find each other on the map. Apparently this game was set in some medieval time period, using swords and magic for combat but having a big roleplay part to it as well. What Katsuki instantly noticed was the ranking system. Players got ranked based on their skills, their hours in the game, their adventures and their items.

Katsuki was nothing if not competitive, so at least he had a drive to be good at the game and not immediately give up. It didn't go very well though and both Kirishima and Kaminari died almost instantly as they went to do a dungeon, leaving a noob to deal with all the monsters.

"Need some help?"

Katsuki turned his character around, seeing another player slaying the monsters around him with ease.
"What are you doing here all alone? You're only a level one and this is a level five dungeon" he pointed out. Katsuki thought he recognized his voice but it was warped a bit through the game interface.

"My fucking party died first second and left me to deal with this mess" Katsuki spoke into his headset, taking some of the loot as the other player killed another monster. Katsuki took this chance to look at his name. Dekiru. Huh... That sounds familiar somehow...
"Oh, that sucks" he said.
"Anyway, you want me to help you out? You'll level up quickly if we defeat the boss, I bet you'll get to level three instantly"
