Kaminari x Mineta (This is the first time I've ever written a ship with Mineta in it and it feels weird lol)

Hanahaki disease, also known as the lovers illness. A deadly flower growing in your lungs due to unanswered love... Yeah, Kaminari was more than familiar with the phenomenon...

It was one of those rare moments that Kirishima could actually convince Bakugou to join them in hanging out. The Bakusquad were lounging around in Ashido's room, eating snacks and talking. Kaminari was a little wary of how long he was already there, wanting to escape before another coughing fit hit him. It's been going on for a few weeks now and they didn't get any better. Luckily no one had found out about his condition, that would only make things more complicated...

Certainly because it was because of him...

Denki felt a coughing fit coming up and tried to supress it. What would people think if they found out? That he got Hanahaki, of all things, and that because he fell in love with a person most of the class stayed away from or were at least a little wary of. It's true that it hurt whenever that little guy would go after girls, never after any boys. Kaminari's heart stung knowing that the boy he somehow fell in love with was obviously a straight pervert.

"Kami? Are you okay? You're looking kinda pale dude-" Sero started, drawing all attention towards the electric blonde. Denki couldn't supress it any longer and started coughing violently. His friends were instantly surrounding him, worried as he coughed up blood and purple-like flower petals.
"What the fuck?!" Katsuki exclaimed, staring wide eyed at the scene. Denki weakly wiped his mouth, clearing his throat once he finished.

"Here, drink something" Eijirou stated, handing him a bottle of water. They were all freaked out about what just happened, but they knew they had to look after Kaminari first before asking questions.
"Does that feel better?" the red head asked as Denki drank a bit. The fake Pikachu nodded, pouting at the mess he made. It'll be hard getting those blood stains out of the fluffy carpet...
"I-I'm so sorry about ruining your carpet Mina-"

"Don't apologize for that!" Ashido stated, rather confused and alarmed that Kaminari wasn't more worried about his own mental health.
"I'll get the stains out, we girls are experts in removing blood stains" she added as she started gathering some tissues and a bag.
"I'll help you clean up" Sero offered as Kirishima guided the electric blonde towards the bed.

"I'm fine, seriously, you don't need to baby me" Denki spoke, making even Bakugou frown.
"Like hell you are fine, you stupid dunce face! You've got fucking Hanahaki!" the explosive teen hissed.
"And judging from that mess, you've had it for a while... Why the hell didn't you tell anyone?! Don't you know you're fucking dying?! Are you actually that damn stupid-?!"

"Enough Bakugou!" Ei yelled, silencing the ash blonde in an instant.
"But... He's right Kami... How long have you been suffering without telling anyone?"
"...Dunno... A few weeks, I guess..?" he mumbled, pulling his knees up to his chest as he avoided the gazes of his friends. He knew that he was killing himself, he's not stupid!

But confessing his love wasn't an option... And an operation would only cause struggles and unwanted questions since he practically wouldn't remember the little guy at all. Besides, how was he going to justify his absence without it being suspicious? Everyone would know... He didn't want people to know...
"Why haven't you told anyone?" Sero asked, approaching him carefully, like Kaminari was some frightened wounded animal.

"Why haven't you confessed to her?" Ashido added. This made Denki look up with shock in his eyes. Her? Mina thought it was a her? Well, guess coming out as bisexual does leave that option...
"I mean, it's Jirou, right? I think she might have a small crush on you, actually"
"J-Jirou..?" Kaminari whispered, actually a little surprised.
