Weredog!Katsuki. Izuku finds a wounded dog in the woods and gets the surprise of a lifetime when that dog turns out to be a man.

Izuku whistled as he shut the trunk of his car, grocery bags at hand. The birds whistled with him as a cold breeze blew by, making him shiver. Some leaves rustled up with it, being blown everywhere. He got a few stuck in his hair too. Just great... The benefits of living in the woods, he supposed. At least it's remote and far away from any traffic or loud music. Besides, the views are amazing here! Izuku does need to pay a lot on fuel for his car though...

Ah well, you win some, you lose some. That's just life. Izuku was making his way up the small steps in front of his door when he heard a tiny whimper coming from the forest. He frowned, looking in the direction he thought it came from. Did he imagine it? But then he heard it again. A soft whine. Timid. Hurt. A wounded animal? Should he call someone? The forester perhaps? But they only looked after the trees, right?

The whimpering came again and Izuku put down his bags in the porch before carefully making his way deeper in the woods.
"Hello?" he called out, breaking the silence of nature. No answer. What the hell was he expecting? A serial killer greeting him with a friendly hello? He was looking for animal for crying out loud! Animals don't respond!

He sighed, looking around, freezing up when he noticed movement a little further down the path. There was something blonde, like a dirty blonde colour. More whimpering followed and Izuku carefully stepped closer. It suddenly moved, making the green head yelp and stumble back on his butt. There was growling and Izuku could make out a figure behind the bushes.

Slowly, he pulled back a branch, his eyes widening at the sight. Was that a fucking wolf?! He blinked, seeing the creature tugging and whining as it tried to free itself. It looked like barbed wire... Where did he run into that? Laying traps or hunting is forbidden in these woods! Ugh, some people... Izuku slowly got back up, instantly being growled at by the ash blonde beast. Now that he got a better look at it, he could tell it wasn't a wolf but rather a very large dog.

It didn't make the creature any less intimidating though... But Izuku couldn't just leave him like this! Assuming it was a him, that is. He was hurt and bleeding and what if someone was looking for him? A dog all alone in the woods... Someone must've been walking or hiking and didn't put him on a leash and when he got spooked he ran off. It was the most logical option in his mind. But he didn't see a collar or any other indication this dog belonged to someone... Well, he could always figure that out later.

"H-hey, it's okay... It's alright, I'm not going to hurt you" Izuku whispered holding his hands up as he slowly took a step closer.
"I'm here to help... So just-"
He carefully reached out, seeing the dog whimper and pressing himself close to the ground. Izuku carefully laid his hand on the spiky fur, surprised by how soft it was.

"Yeah, that's it... You're okay... It's alright" Izuku whispered, rubbing that spot as he inspected the wire that was wound around him. It was tangled up in the branches and his fur and cutting in his skin. He'd need some equipement to cut it off him... Izuku pulled away, taking a step back, which earned another whimper from the dog.

"Hey, hey, it's okay. It's okay... I'm just going to grab something that can help you, okay? I'll be right back, I promise"
The dog whimpered and cried as Izuku left the scene, a shy bark leaving his mouth, breaking the green head's heart. He rushed inside his home, his groceries thrown on the kitchen table as he rushed through his house to grab what he was looking for. Something strong enough to cut those metal barbed wires with...
