Izuku is framed as the UA traitor and is arrested and kept captive by the authoroties. From there on out, things go south for our innocent green broccoli boy.

ANGST

(Just noticed I forgot to post this one shot earlier today whoopsies)

"All Might! Please! Please don't let them take me!" Izuku cried as he clung onto his idol and mentor. He was wailing, his body trembling and his mid still trying to catch up with the facts. They were surrounded by police officers and heroes alike in case he'd resist. Bet they didn't expect him to burst out into tears... They probably thought he was some violent maniac who'd kill to escape... That's what people expect from a spy, right? A traitor?

"I-I didn't do anything! I swear! You have to believe me!" he cried, feeling the frail man slowly pat his head as he tried to pry the green head off him. Toshinori didn't want this either. He didn't believe for a moment his successor was involved in the League or any other villainous activities for that matter. But it didn't matter what he thought... The evidence was stacked against them and there was no way he was getting Izuku from being arrested.

"Please don't make this any harder than it already is, young Midoriya" Yagi whispered, finally able to put an arm's distance between them so they could look at each other. Izuku's face was full of tears and snot, absolutely disgusting but approriate for the circumstances.
"I know you're innocent, okay? But you'll only make them think worse of you if you don't come quietly"

"B-but I don't-" Izuku choked out, glancing around as the police officers started to move in on him. He was scared. He didn't do anything wrong! Why were they treating him like a criminal?! He wasn't the traitor! He'd never-!
"Midoriya Izuku, you're under arrest for conspiring with the League of Villains against society and commiting crimes against humanity. You have the right to remain silent-" the officers started reciting as he was pushed down onto the ground, quirk eraser cuffs boud to his hands.

They were rough, his face scraping against the harsh underground as at least three people held him down, putting ont he cuffs way tighter than they should.
"I promis I'll do anything in my power to get you out" All Might spoke as they dragged the crying green mess into the armoured vehicle. The news of Izuku's arrest went around the school like a wild fire.

It was all over the news and every kind of media platfrom. And with all those stories about him going around, even those in class 1-A who knew him personally, were starting to doubt Midoriya's true intentions...
"I don't know man... You really think they'd arrest him if all of these stories were made up? Some of it must be kinda true, right?" Denki mumbled as he scrolled through his phone.

"Hey! Why am I kicked from the Bakusquad groupchat all of the sudden?!"
"If you toss Deku aside so easily, you're not worth my fucking time" Katsuki hissed, glaring at the knock-off Pikachu.
"Whoo! That's the spirit Bakugou!" Uraraka smiled as she passed by the couch, holding her hand up. Katsuki absentmindedly high fived her as she walked by, never even looking up from his phone.

"Deku is innocent and I bet they'll be able to prove that soon enough!"
"Yeah! He wouldn't have put everything on the line to save Eri if he was in with the bad guys, right?" Kirishima spoke.
"It was super manly!"
"How would you know? Weren't you unconscious? Ribbit" Tsuyu asked.
"That's not the point!" Eijirou exclaimed, starting an argument in the common room.

One side of the class was convinced of Izuku's innocence, the other side was getting persuaded by the media and so called evidence that he was the UA traitor. Monoma was also quick to call 1-A out on it, but nobody else in class 1-B actually believed the rumours to be true. All Might was certain young Midoriya was framed and Eraserhead also didn't believe this sketchy evidence that turned up out of nowhere. It screamed fake all over it and he was desperae to prove his student was being set up.
