My Missing Years

Based on the D.E.K.U. storyline! Deku finds a way to return to important events that happened during the 5 years he was 'dead' and gets emotional when he sees how big of a softie Kacchan truly is XD

Todoroki was standing in front of him, his arms crossed over his chest, a firm look on his face.
"No"
"Oh come on! Sho-san, I-"
"No" he repeated, making the smaller green haired man frown. To say Izuku wasn't happy about the current situation was an understatement... He had finally found someone with a time travel quirk! Or at least, something that allowed you mind to wander through time while your body stayed at a fixed point.

He could go back and see all the things he'd missed! Experience everything that happened the 5 years he was... Well, gone... He always felt left out when people talked about it. Even though he read all the reports, saw all the video's, it... It wasn't enough... He missed so much of Kacchan's development into a hero, of him starting a family without him- Of the union moving on without him- Of the whole world without him-

It's just... He just wanted to be there... Yet there were certain risks involved. His body couldn't be moved during the process and if his mind wandered too far or got lost... Let's just say that if he wasn't able to find his way back to his body, he'd be stuck like that forever.
"You know how much this means to me" Midoriya hissed, glaring at the dual eyed male.

"And you know what you mean to me, to us, to everyone here!" Shoto hissed.
"We can't afford to lose you! Not again! Does Bakugou even know you're doing this?"
"Kacchan doesn't need to know-"
"Yes, he does Izuku" Todoroki stated, frowining.
"You've got a family, you're trying to prove to the world you're a good person. This isn't what you should be doing right now"

The two of them stared into each other's eyes for a while before Izuku groaned, seemingly giving in.
"Fine! Fine... I-I'll just tell her to go away then..."
"Good" Todoroki stated, watching from a small distance as the green head walked up to the woman. He knew that Shoto was just standing there to make sure he didn't try anything so he was being careful with his movements.

"The boss said no?" she snorted. For a new member she surely was full of confidence...
"I'm the boss" Izuku stated, giving her a glare.
"Come to my adres tomorrow morning at 8. Don't tell anyone"
Kacchan should've gone to work by then and both Eri and Kota had to leave for school before 8. He had school too but he'd gladly skip if it meant he could do this. Maybe he'll fake being sick so Kacchan called UA to tell them Midoriya wasn't coming in? Yeah, that could work...

Midoriya wasn't surprised by how worried Katsuki was when he pretended he wasn't feeling well. At one point he even offered to take the day off to care for him, but Izuku refused that offer.
"No Kacchan, you're a hero! You're needed out there" the green head smiled.
"I'll just text Toya and let him know I'm not coming to school-"
"I'll call UA, don't worry, you just stay in bed" Bakugou stated, taking out his phone.

"Daddy! We're gonna be late for school!" Eri whined as she stood in the doorframe.
"Say bye to papa and we'll leave" Katsuki sighed, giving Izuku a quick kiss on his forehead.
"Bye papa!" Eri smiled.
"Bye Eri, have fun at school" Midoriya answered with a small smile as Bakugou ruffled his hair.
"Stay in bed. I mean it nerd. No union things today"

"Yeah yeah" Deku chuckled, coughing a bit in the end. And so he was left alone... Just in time, he mused, as he looked aside at the clock. He quickly got up when he heard the car leave the driveway and got dressed. It was only a few minutes later that the woman arrived at his door.
"Ah, right on time!" Izuku smiled as he opened up the door.
"Well, yes, I've been told to follow your orders to the letter, so..." she sighed.
