Finally, after all these years, Deku meets his father. Although it's not quite in the way he was expecting it to be...

He knew from the moment he hear him talk, that it was him. Frozen in fear, Midoriya couldn't do anything else but listen as he spoke. He, his father, All For One... He glanced aside at the others, seeing they were paralysed as well. Unbelievable... After all these years...

They came here to save Kacchan. Expecting to find the explosive blonde, Izuku didn't expect to run into his father. Let alone discover that that man was actually All Might's greatest foe, his destined arch nemesis as the ninth holder of One For All. Deku quickly pushed it aside, deciding to focus on the matter at hand and freak out later. It was hard, pushing his complex emotions aside for the greater good... But the greater good was Katsuki Bakugou, and he was definitely more important than his scumbag of a father!

In the end, it was for the better. Kacchan was saved, All Might showed up and kicked ass... Everyone was happy and the class decided to go paintballing to celebrate a happy ending, even though All Might retired they still got Bakugou back. Deku wasn't really into it though, his thoughts always wandering off to All For One. Was he really his father..? That voice... It was exactly the same...

The same as that one forgotten voicemail on one of Inko's old cell-phones. Midoriya had found it without his mother knowing about it and recorded it with his own phone. It was the last message his father left them... And somehow, even though he never really knew the guy, it was precious to him. Now he was glad he kept it, it made him recognize his voice.

He was shot out of thought, quite literary, as Kacchan shot him with red paintball bullet.
"Oi nerd! Pay fucking attention! It's no fun if you don't even try" he stated, glaring at the green head.
"S-sorry Kacchan!"
This made the blonde roll his eyes and grab his arm, dragging him apart. He hid with Deku in a sniper pit and glared at the broccoli.

"Alright, what's up with you? You've been out of it ever since I got back from the League and don't give me that All Might-isn't-a-hero-anymore bullshit you've been feeding the other extra's. I know you, shitty Deku... There is something else going on"
"I... I-I don't really w-want to talk about it..." Midoriya muttered, fidgeting with his fingers while looking down at his hands.

"Sucks for you cause you're gonna talk about it, whether you want it or not" Katsuki hissed. He masked his concern with anger and irritation, hoping Deku wouldn't catch onto it. But with the state the green head is in now, he doesn't seem capable of spotting a plane in a clear blue sky. Izuku opened his mouth to speak but Kacchan quickly covered it up and pulled out his gun, sniping down both Kirishima and Kaminari.

'Of course... He's in this to win' Midoriya thought by himself. 'What else did I expect?'

"Oh man!" the electric blonde whined.
"Not fair Bakubro!" Kiri yelled but Bakugou just rolled his eyes and dove down again.
"You were saying?"
"Why do you want to know so badly?" Izuku asked confused.
"Why not go out there and win this whole thing for yourself? Why bother with how I'm feeling?"

"Like I said, it ain't no fun if my rival isn't fully in it" he grinned, making Midoriya's eyes widen a little. Rival? He really was Kacchan's rival? He didn't know why, but that thought made him really happy. It means Katsuki acknowledges his strength and capabilities as a hero!
"So ya gonna start talking or what? Don't have all day"
"Uhm...right... So, uh, remember when that big boss villain showed up?" Deku asked quietly.
"How the fuck am I supposed to forget that?" Bakugou grunted, the trauma fresh in his mind.
