Insane!Deku au (Not really tho? Idk... It's also kinda short? Next one will be longer promise!)

Nobody ever believed him when Izuku Midoriya told them he heard voices inside of his head. When he first started saying those things, his mother made him see a specialist. Nobody knew why he was hearing these voices, since the tests stated there was nothing else wrong with the boy. Even Izuku himself was painfully aware of the fact he wasn't supposed to be hearing things. Maybe it's his quirk? Maybe it finally showed? But still... With a quirk like that, you can't become a hero...

He stopped talking to the voices at school, when other people were around, but it was already too late. Everyone knew about his 'insanity' and he was bullied and avoided. Ignoring the voices was painfull as well. They would become louder, more aggressive, more prominent until all he could hear were those voices in his head. Some of them sounded like people he knew, like his mom or Kacchan. Others were strange and totally unfamiliar. Yet he found comfort in talking to them, and a huge migraine if he didn't.

He'd been talking to himself the moment the sludge villain attacked and when he ran to save Kacchan after that, he told the blonde he'd told him to save him. Of course Katsuki Bakugou never said it, not out loud. All because one secret remained. Midoriya's quirk isn't just hearing voices inside his head, no. It are the thoughts of people around them, their emotions, their responses. It was fully at random though. Not even their most potent thoughts sipped into his head, sometimes it was just a random underlaying thought in the back of their minds. Shower thoughts, to call it that.

All Might noticed when young Midoriya started muttering under his breath during training. When the hero asked about it, Izuku stuttered out the truth, about the voices in his head. All Might was taken aback by it, not gonna lie, but it didn't change his opinion on young Midoriya. Sure, it was weird seeing the green headed boy agrue with himself while muttering furiously but it was tolerable.

Of course Midoriya made it into the hero course, to the great frustration of Bakugou.
"Of course the crazy lunatic gets in" the blonde snorted.
"What is that supposed to mean? Dude, that's not nice" Kirishima frowned.
"N-no, it's uhm it's fine" Izuku stuttered, looking down in shame.
"I-I have the habit of uhm talking to m-myself"

It was quiet for a moment before Uraraka hugged him, smiling brightly.
"I think your muttering is cute!"
"And creepy" Katsuki snorted.
"Kacchan!" Midoriya whined. The green head had hoped to make new friends, ones that didn't knew about his fucked up mind. Too bad...
"You shouldn't be so descending towards your fellow peers Bakugou!" Iida lectured, making the blonde roll his eyes.
"Tch, fuck off four eyes"

"Hmm, yeah, that would be rather radical..." Deku muttered, his eyes widening as he slapped a hand over his mouth.
"S-sorry I-I-"
"It's okay Deku!" Ochako smiled.
"What were you saying?"
"Oh, uhm, I was talking to you about how pushing Kacchan out of the window is rather radical" Midoriya said with a nervous smile.
"Huh? What the hell round face?!"

"I-I didn't say anything!" she exclaimed.
"Yes you did" Izuku pointed out with a frown, holding his head.
"No... No, it's happening again... I... Sorry, I h-have to go"
He turned around only to shriek as he saw Shouta Aizawa roll in in his yellow sleeping bag.
"In your seats students" he sighed, crawling up.
"I am Mr Aizawa and I'll be your homeroom teacher"

"Yeah, I know, he's rude" Bakugou heard Midoriya mutter, making the blonde frown.
"Judging everyone at first glance like that... Huh, he's right for the most part though. No, shut up, he's not"
"You. Quiet" Aizawa hissed, glaring at Izuku, making the green head squeak and apologize. They went out to the field not much later, Midoriya muttering non-stop.

"No, that's mean... I'm not saying that! Well, you're not listening to me. Ugh, that's just his quirk, it's not weird. Oh, yes, yeah, that's true. Aizawa is a judgemental ass. Of course I know he is irritated with me, I'm not an idiot. Oh my God, do you really think he would do something like that? I can't control this quirk yet so... Oh, orange, that's a simple one... If you say it like that I would go with blue"

Huh, it's like he totally switched conversation there for a second. Katsuki rolled his eyes, trying his best to ignore it like he's always done. Although his new classmates were having a lot more trouble with that...
"Uhm, dude? You okay?" Kaminari asked carefully.
"Yes!" Midoriya instantly stated, smiling brightly at the Pikachu.
"Also, you should totally add spikes to that leather jacket"

Denki's eyes widened for a moment and he opened his mouth again before closing it like a fish, no sound coming out.
"Fucking warned you, dunce face" Bakugou grunted, crossing his arms. Aizawa shushed the class, threatening to expel the worst scoring student.
"He's dead serious... Yes I know! I'm going to get expelled the first day..!" Izuku whisper hissed to himself.

Nobody said anything about it, like an unspoken rule. Midoriya didn't use One For All until the ball throw, where Aizawa erased his quirk. Yet, somehow, Deku managed to throw the ball at 100% of his power, shattering all the bones in his arm, breaking it completely.
"Such a backlash..." someone whispered while Aizawa rubbed his eyes in confusion. How could he not erase this kid's quirk?

"Midoriya, a word while I escort you to Recovery Girl? Rest of you go get changed and get back to class"
"What about the other exercises-?"
"Canceled. It seems as though all of you get to live to see another day. Now get a move on"
"I know he's mad, shut up" Izuku muttered to himself as he held onto his broken arm. Shouta frowned, walking up to the green head and crossing his arms with a long sigh.

"Alright kid, what's your deal?"

"W-what?" Midoriya asked confused.
"I erased your quirk when you were going to throw that ball, knowing what you were going to do. Izuku one trick pony Midoriya. Yet, somehow, you used your quirk. How?" Aizawa asked.
"I-I wouldn't k-know sir! I-I... I have n-no idea h-how that should be p-possible!" Izuku exclaimed in a panic.
"Tell me, what is your quirk? What does it do?" Aizawa asked.

"Oh, uhm, it's a strength enhance-" Midoriya started, only to be interrupted.
"No, don't tell me that crap kid. I'm not talking about that self-destructive quirk Toshinori gave you. I want to know your real quirk, the actual quirk you were born with"
"Y-you know a-about One For All?!" Midoriya whisper shouted.
"Oh God, that blonde dumbo didn't tell you anything, did he? Ugh, how typical... Well, a conversation for another time. Tell me about your quirk"

"Oh! Uh, w-well you see sir, I uhm I-I don't... I was quirkless b-before One For All" Deku admitted, looking down at the ground while still holding his arm.
"...I know, shut it! What? No, I'm not lying!"
"Midoriya, do you do this more often? Talking to yourself like that?" Aizawa asked with a small frown, getting worried for his mental health.

"I-I've been hearing voices inside my mind ever since I was 6. It's uhm, it's okay, really. I was checked for things and talked to a lot of people but-"
"These voices, are they always the same?" Shouta asked, now wanting to get to the bottom of this all.
"No, not always. Sometimes they're from people I know other times from strangers" Midoriya answered, daring to look up at his homeroom teacher.
"A-am I in trouble? Are y-you going to e-expel me?"

"Not yet kid... Who were you talking to just now? A voice you know?" the teacher asked.
"You, actually, Mr Aizawa" Izuku responded.
"And why did it tell you?"
"That you don't believe I'm actually quirkless" the green head said, tilting his head a little.
"The voices always know... Who is the loud blonde radio-head he keeps yammering about? He screams and it hurts..."

At that moment, Present Mic walked up on the field, yelling out to Eraser.
"Hey Shouta! Heard a kid got injured! Need some help getting them to Recovery Girl?!"
"No fucking way..." Aizawa whispered, staring at the kid in disbelief.
"What? No, that's crazy... Like I wouldn't know it if I had a mind reading quirk" Midoriya muttered to himself, his eyes getting bigger with every word.

"Oh my God I'm not insane! Those conversations are real! The voices are real!"
"They are real kid! You better believe it" Aizawa grinned.
"Mic! Get over here! Tell Midnight we need to get this kid a quirk counsler"
