All Might's Secret Love Child

Todoroki was right after all. Midoriya really is All Might's secret love child.

"Are you All Might's secret love child or something?"

That sentence shouldn't have caught him so off guard as it did. Todoroki had made some solid point about his relationship with the number one hero. They did spend a lot of time together and Toshinori wasn't the best at hiding his favourites in class... Bakugou, Midoriya's childhood friend, who was also listening in on this conversation right now, froze in place.

The ash blonde was the only other student that knew about his relationship with All Might. He also realised it would be bad if villain found out, which is exactly why the number one hero kept his family a secret in the first place. It hadn't always been easy though... Izuku didn't have the best relationship with his father as he grew up, seeing as the man was absent most of the time. He still admired him though, and he understood everything in his reasoning.

The reason why he was named Midoriya, after his mother, and not Toshinori, after his father. The reason he had to keep their status a secret. The reason he was away from home so much... But now, when attending UA High, being accepted into the hero course, their relationship got a lot better. Sure, he could've gotten in on recommendation like Todoroki, but that would raise too many questions.

Besides, his quirk, which was basically an enhanced form of his mom's telekinesis, was more than suitable for the entrance exam. Although he did lay in bed with terrible migraines the day afterwards... Every quirk has its drawbacks, right?
"I-I... I don't know what to say, Todoroki" Midoriya breathed, glancing at the ground. Their dads were the number one and number two heroes. And now their sons are competing as well...

"That's all the answer I need" the halfa stated, pushing himself off the wall and walking away.
"I will crush you. That's a promise"
Izuku's lip trembled, tears threatening to spill. He couldn't let Todoroki walk away like that! He couldn't risk his secret getting out like this! Bakugou was about to make himself visible and step in as Midoriya yelled.

"Todoroki, wait!"

The boy stopped, slowly turning around to face his rival once more.
"Please... You can't tell anyone!" Midoriya cried.
"People c-can't know I'm h-his son... I-it would p-put my family i-in danger... Besides, I-I don't want people looking at me like that... The way they look at you"
"What do you mean?" Shoto asked, frowning a little.

"The son of Endeavor, number one hero. That's how everyone sees you, right?" Midoriya said, wiping away his tears.
"That's why you're so angry... Why you think that your quirk is his... You've been standing in his shadow... But you're you're own person Todoroki!"
This took the halfa by surprise and even Katsuki looked shocked from a distance. That damn nerd... Finally grew some balls huh? About fucking time.

"I don't want people to see me as his son! I don't want to live in a shadow I can't possibly escape from!" Izuku cried out, the tears once again rolling down his face.
"We are different, aren't we! You and me... We are our own person!"
"You have it easy talking! You didn't inherit his quirk!" Todoroki hissed.
"Neither did you!" Midoriya shouted, glaring back at his classmate.
"It's your power Todoroki!"

There was a tense silence, accompanied by an intense staring contest. Suddenly something seemed to click inside his mind and Shoto started tearing up with Izuku. The green head was taken aback for a moment but soon stated crying even harder. Katsuki rolled his eyes, coming out of his hiding place and strolling over to them with a bored expression.
"Oi crybabies! Get your asses moving! Lunch is gonna be over soon and I don't want anyone complaining about competing on an empty stomach!"
