Just Another Ordinary Day

Bakugou x Midoriya

Midoriya doesn't tell anyone at UA about his birthday because he never really celebrates it anyway. Not like he had any friends to celebrate with earlier either so... When Bakugou notices this, he shoots into action.

Bakugou can't help but feel something is up. The nerd is acting differently somehow but he's trying to play it off cool. Something is definitely up.
"Staring at your boyfriend Bakugou~" Kaminari teased, earning a blast in the face. It was true that the blonde had been staring at Deku from afar, seeing him act all nervous and jittery around his friends, as per usual. It was early in the morning and they were waiting for Aizawa to enter so class could start.

"Hm? Something the matter bro?" Kirishima asked, blocking his view of Izuku, thereby pulling him out of thought.
"You're undressing him with your eyes dude" Sero pointed out.
"I mean, I get that you're dating and all but seriously?"

Yes, he and the nerd were dating. For about a month now, almost. Maybe that's what he was so weird about? An anniversary coming up? Huh... No, he wouldn't. When they were together for a week, Midoriya gave him a stuffed bunny as a gift, saying he was really happy we were dating now. They made out after that. Knowing the nerd he probably had another gift ready already so he couldn't be nervous about that if he just straight up started about anniversaries a week into the relationship.

"Oi! Bakubro!" Kiri exclaimed, snapping his fingers next to his ear.
"Shut up shitty hair, I heard you just fine" Katsuki grunted.
"Something is up with that nerd and I can't seem to lay my fucking finger on it"
"Huh? Midoriya? He's not acting off, is he?" Mina asked confused, tilting her head a little.

Suddenly a realisation hit him. Like it's been on the tip of his tongue all along and now he finally has the answer he was looking for. He quickly grabbed his phone, staring wide eyed at the date.
"Fuck" he cursed silently, face palming as he groaned.
"What? You figured it out bro?" Kirishima asked confused.

"He didn't tell them..." Bakugou whispered, staring at Deku's friends, who acted like this was just another ordinary day.
"He doesn't want anyone to know... He thinks he's a burden... Oh God, why didn't I realise this sooner?!"
"What are you talking about dude?" Denki asked confused.
"It's his birthday" the blonde sighed, making the group around him gasp.

"Today?" Ashido asked with big eyes, earning a nod from Bakugou.
"We have to do something! Like, like a surprise party!"
"Sssh, not so fucking loud raccoon eyes!" Katsuki hissed, glaring at her.
"Also, get pony tail and headphones in on the party planning. Creator chick is good with that kind of stuff and earphone bitch had good taste in music"

"Do I need to tell Uraraka to keep him distracted while we put everything up after school?" Kirishima asked.
"No, round face would screw up and spill after a minute. I'll do it myself" Bakugou stated, standing up from his seat, glaring at the green head.

"Oi nerd!"

"Y-yes Kacchan?" Izuku squeaked, his head piping up at the call of his boyfriend.
"We're going out after school. It's a date, no fucking excuses, got it?"
"Y-yes!" Midoriya managed to get out, his face a blushing mess. Katsuki let a satisfied smirk crawl onto his lips as he sat back down.
"There, that's taken care of. Let me know what hour we need to be back alright?"

"We'll text you" Kaminari smiled, giving a thumps up. He was obviously very excited for the party. And so word went around and at the end of the school day everyone in class 1-A, minus Deku, knew what was up. Katsuki smiled a little as the nerd came running out the dormitory after getting changed out of his school uniform. The green head grabbed the blonde's hand and they started walking together.
