"What the hell are you doing here?" I ask.

He laughs.

"Oh. Good to see you too Sammie."

I give him a look and move aside as he walks in.

"Well it's a bit of a surprise. I haven't seen or heard from you in god knows how long."

"Yeah, but a good surprise though right?" He smiles.

I raise an eyebrow.

"You haven't changed." I roll my eyes.

"Neither have you." He laughs. "Actually, you're looking a bit tired... and I see some frown lines coming along. I told you that would happen." He smiles.

I shake my head and walk in to the kitchen. He follows me in.

"What do you want Nick? I notice you've got some bags with you. Are you in trouble? Do you need money?"

He scoffs and raises his eyebrows.

"Is that what you think of me?!" He pretends to be offended. "Cant a brother come visit his wonderful sister?"

I smirk and shake my head.

"Then what's with your luggage? I guess you're planning on staying here? You dont just randomly show up to see me. You want something."

"Yeah, just to spend some good, overdue quality time with my little sister. Is that a crime?"

I give him a look and he sighs.

"Look, I know I've been a shit brother and I know it's been a while, but seriously I'm fine. Theres no catch."

"Right? I dont believe you."

"Sooo, I can't stay a few days?"

I give him a look.

"Will it actually be a few days though? You're not homeless are you?"

"No." He rolls his eyes and laughs. "Do I look homeless?"

"You've always had a homeless look about you."

"Shots fired." He laughs. "But, no. I'm not homeless."

"Well that's something." I sigh.

He glances around the kitchen.

"Any drinks for your guest? Coffee would be nice."

I glare at him.

"You could have been dead for all I knew, and then suddenly you just show up, say theres no catch and you want a coffee as if we are having a weekly catch up."

"Sam." He rolls his eyes.

"Tell me why you're here Nick." I fold my arms.

He sighs.

"I've just got back from seeing dad."

"Oh..." I nod slowly. "Well its good to know he's alive too. Is he ok?"

"Yeah, fine." He nods. "Got himself a new girlfriend."

"Another one." I roll my eyes.

"She's actually alright. A bit younger than him, and not bad looking."

I make a face.

"So you went to see dad, and now you're visiting me. Theres got to be something wrong with you. Are you dying?"

"Fucking hell, no." He laughs. "Since when did you get so morbid?"

"I'm just confused." I shrug.
