"We...we need to talk," Lena nervously folds her arms in front of her as the blonde is instantly alarmed, for usually Lena was the calm and collected one. She really was and this was throwing her off for her.
"Lena? What's wrong, baby? MM? What happened?" She stands and quickly takes her hand.
"Can we...can we talk? Inside?" she whispers as Julius waves them on.
"Go, you, two! I have to head back to my hotel room anyway."
"Hey, love you," Stef grabs his hand, engulfing him in a hug. "Thanks for the talk. Honestly, sweetheart."
"Anytime hot Mama. And I love you too, baby! You know I do! Now, go off, married people, I'll let myself out."
"Breakfast! Tomorrow!" The blonde points to him as he nods and laughs.
"I'm making it, honey! Just you come and join us!" With a wave he leaves as Stef turns to Lena who now has silent tears flooding her cheeks.
"Inside?" Lena asks once more as an alarmed Stef nods and follows her to their room.

STEF POV
Right now my mind was in shambles, in chaos and almost frozen. In fact my entire body was completely numb if I was honest. Numb to the point where I wasn't sure if I could go to work.
"Stef, did you hear what I said, honey? Are you ok?" Lena says gently placing her hand on my thigh as a I still find it difficult to even breathe.
"Yes, I...I um heard you." I respond feeling a lump in my throat. All I can do is head over to our bedroom window and look at the heavy rain that is falling as right now I feel like nothing but a failure. "Lena?"
"Yes?"
"I knew something was wrong. I knew it and I'm trained for this. I'm a cop." Feeling tears run down my face she walks over to me grabbing my hand.
"Sweetheart, she hid this very well. Very well, and no one would ever have guessed."
"No. I should have known, Lena. I know that little girl. I've known her for her entire life! I should have taken her out like I always did and pushed harder. I should have. I should have hugged her, and comforted her..."
"Stef." She says cupping my face. "Stefanie was not herself. She wasn't and it was very difficult."
"It doesn't matter, Len. It doesn't matter at all. I failed that little girl." I say wiping my tears. "And all this time she's getting her ass kicked by someone that will no longer have limbs by the time I'm done with him. SO help me god, Lena, that boy will never see the light of day again EVER IN LIFE! I WILL KILL HIM!" I say storming off and feeling nothing but rage in my body as Lena grabs my hand.
"Baby! Baby, listen..."
"I can't listen Lena. I can't."
"Stef!" She was follows me as I grab my lunchbox and turn on the coffee maker so I can make coffee for my thermos before I storm out of the kitchen towards the living room. I find Corey sprawled out watching a Christmas movie and I march up to the television and shut it off.
"Hey! I was watching that!" He sits up annoyed as I can hear Lena.
"I'm sorry? Would you like to repeat that young man with a different tone of voice!" I yell as he lowers his eyes..
"I...I...I mean...I'm sorry."
"Stef!" Lena yells again but I ignore her as I flick on the lamp on the end table. "Scoot over."
