Chapter 31

Levi's POV

"S-sir?" Pat, Ellie's bestfriend,muttered as soon as she spotted me enter the bake shop.

This is the 10nth time I came here hoping to get some good news about Ellie's whereabouts.

"Hi, I was wondering if you've heard anything from her.." I asked and she was silent for a while.

"S-sorry po pero wala pa rin.." She told me and I feel my world shatter to pieces once more.

It's been a month since I last saw her beautiful face at my Mansion. She wanted to talk to me but then decided to leave and never return any of my calls from that day on.

I never should have let her go that night in my car. I should have fought for her to stay but I was too coward to say it because I was jealous and wouldnt admit my true feelings for her. All I could think of was she was way too young to be with someone like me. She deserves happiness and I was afraid I wouldnt be able to give that to her because of the kind of life I'm in.

"Pat..please" I know she's hiding something but she still refuse to tell me anything.

"Sorry po talaga..pero mabuti ng hindi nyo po alam Sir..nasaktan mo si Ellie ng husto.." She muttered in frustration.

"I know and that's why I gotta talk to her.." I said.

I'm not ready to let her go and I think I never will be. That's why I broke up things with Jessica. I just can't forget Ellie. She's in my mind 24/7. I'm crazy about her. And when she left I lost my shit together.

I rarely attend my meetings anymore because all I could think about is her. I spend most my days drinking until I pass out.

"Pero hindi ka nya gustong kausapin Sir Levi" Pat said and I could tell she's getting upset too.

"I love her, so much" I spoke the truth.

"A-ano po?" She seems surprised.

"Mahal ko si Ellie. Let her know that" I muttered feeling hopeless. I turn around and was about to exit the door when Pat spoke.

"Kung mahal mo sya bakit hindi mo pinigilan ang kapatid mo at si Jessica?"

I was confused after she said that.

"What do you mean?"

"Sila ang nagpakalat ng mga litrato at nagplano ng lahat" She said and I swear my chest tightened.

She takes her phone out and show me the pictures she was talking about.

"When did this happen? I mean when was this sent to her? She didnt say anything about this" I was furious after seeing the pictures of us outside my hotel and another one inside the car and the other one was a vandalism written "Ellie Rose Corpuz is a slut".

And the last one was at a party of Caleb where she was photograpped with Caleb holding each other walking towards his room.

"Hindi lang iyan. Naniniwala si Ellie na may nilagay ang kapatid mo sa drinks nya ng gabing yan" Pat revealed and I swear anytime I could break some stuffs inside the bake shop.

"That fucking bastard.." My jaw clenched so tight. I'm gonna blow up anytime.

"What about Jessica?" I asked.

"Sabi ni Ellie narinig nya kay Caleb na si Jessica raw ang may pakana sa pagkuha ng litrato sa condo nito at sasabihin ko ang totoo saiyo Sir Levi. Walang nangyari kay Caleb at Ellie ng gabing yan because I was there. Ako ang dahilan bakit nangyari yan in the first place dahil sa kagustuhan kong pumunta sa party at makausap si Aaron.." Pat was about to cry while I was shocked with the revelations coming from her.
