Chapter 54

Levi's POV

"Ellie?! Hello?! Ellie!" I was shouting and desperately calling her name inside my office.

Something is not right and I need to know whats happening.

I was in the middle of my meeting when she called. I knew right then that something's off about the tone of her voice. She seems in panic.

"Hello! Answer me!" I yelled over the phone but then a familiar voice rang in my ear

"You fucking bitch!" A man's voice.

At hindi ako maaaring magkamali.

"Caleb?"

"At least you remembered my voice, my dearest brother.." He replied full of sarcasm.

"What did you do to her?! Where is she!" Nagsimula akong magpanic.

Caleb is supposed to be in rehab but it seems like he has escaped. Hindi bago sa aking pandinig that my brother hates me. I've tried to reach out to him so many times but he chose to avoid us.

"They are safe..for now.." Caleb threatened.

"They?" I asked, confused.

"I'm talking about your young lover here, and your unborn child" Caleb spat.

My eyes widen in shock. Ellie's pregnant?

"What do you want Caleb? Tell me!" I began to panic. I have to think about Ellie and our baby's safety.

"I want you to see for yourself.." Muling pagbabanta ng aking kapatid at halos madurog ang cellphone sa aking kamay sa higpit ng aking pagkakahawak rito.

Aaminin ko, I have never felt so defeated in my life. Wala akong magawa. Magulo ang isip ko kung papaano ililigtas ang aking mag-ina.

"If you ever lay a finger on her, I swear!" I threatened back but he just laughed at me.

"Do you think you can scare me? If you want to see her again then come here.. I'll leave the address at mag isa ka lang or else I'll do something we'll both regret"  Pagbabanta ng aking kapatid bago nito pinatay ang cellphone.

I couldnt even think straight right now. All I could think about is Ellie and our baby. I know Caleb hates me but this went too far. Bakit kailangan pa nitong idamay ang walang kamuwang muwang na babaeng nagdadalang tao?

"Fuck!" Nagmamadali kong nilagay ang susi at saka pinaharurot ko ang sasakyan palabas ng parking lot.

Halos paliparan ko ito sa daan at panay ang aking busina sa mga katabing sasakyan upang mabilis akong makarating sa binigay nitong address.

Alam ko kung saan iyon sapagkat minsan ko na ring napuntahan ang condong iyon ni Caleb.

For the first time in my life, I've never been this scared shitless. I can't lose them. She's one of the most important person in my life and I dont know what I'd do kapag may nangyaring masama rito.

Because I love her. I still love her. And there's never a time in my life that my feelings ever fade away for her. It's always been her.

Mahal na mahal ko ang babae at hindi ko mapapatawad ang sarili kapag may nangyaring masama sakanila ng aming anak.

Ellie's pregnant.

Gusto kong magdiwang sa balitang nagdadalang tao si Ellie sapagkat alam kong magiging mabuting ina ito. Susuportahan ko ito sa abot ng aking makakaya. I know she is only a teenager but Ellie is a strong woman. I know in my heart that she will be a great mother and fulfill her dreams at the same time.
