Some lizard-fenrir monsters lick the blood off of the ground, as I stumble across the wasteland. My last encounter with Spade having cost me even more of my humanity, which is slowly disappearing with every wound made. My Bone Magnum had turned back into a bone blade, and my skeletal arm went back to normal. My skin is starting to look more pale with every passing day, I've lost count of how long I've been walking for. Up ahead, the nation of Lastation stood tall, the banners of Heartz on the walls giving me a bad feeling. Before long, I managed to arrive inside the nation, which like Planeptune, was a nighttime variant of Lastation. The streets were filled with cages and public displays. One cage had a cat demi-human with one ear missing, its skin was turning purple in some areas, and its clothes were ripped. It looked to me with dilated pupils as it fell limp. 'I-It...' I look around the area, all of the cages had demi-humans inside of them, each of them with deep cuts and purple skin in some areas. 'What... is this...?!' I continue to walk through the streets, trying to avoid looking at the cages, but what I saw up ahead, made anything previous seem merciful. A lizard demi-human was strung up by two poles, upside down, with shallow cuts all over its body. Its tail was cut off halfway down, with many cuts along it going across the back. Some guards came up to the demi-human and lit a fire underneath it, as it squirmed and struggled to escape, but the ropes holding its feet up didn't allow it. The demi-human's skin slowly started to melt away, the cuts all over its body started to cauterize. What made things even worse, is that the demi-human tried to scream, but nothing came out. Inside the demi-human's mouth, the tongue was cut out. The flesh slowly caught fire, as the demi-human thrashed around. I don't know why I stayed, why I didn't turn away and leave. My body didn't allow me to leave, seeing something that brutal, caused me to freeze in place. It only took minutes, but what looked like agonizing minutes for the demi-human, as it finally stopped moving. I stumble backwards, and take off running in an opposite direction, past the cages and into a back alley. When I knew I was far away from anyone who would see, I stopped holding it back, and threw up in the dark corner of the alley.

Hours past, maybe even days... I can no longer tell how long I've been in this city. The dark alleys are my only chance to keep hidden, all I hear are the screams of demi-humans being killed for the public's entertainment... What kind of f*cked up world is this?! 'I...have to stop them...' I slowly stand up, taking my bone blade out, as it switches into the form of the Bone Magnum. "I will stop them..." I slowly walk towards the Basilicom deep in the nation. Passing by several cages filled with dying demi-humans, I try to cover my ears as I break into a sprint, the Basilicom coming up in the distance. I run through the front entrance, shooting a few guards that were present, before heading towards the elevator.

The elevator door opens as a guard falls to the ground, as I point my Bone Magnum towards Heartz who was standing near a pile of demi-humans poisoned and dead on the floor. One demi-human was left, a black cat, being constrained by two guards. I shoot the first guard, as the second pulls out his own gun, but is killed by a quick poisonous jab from Heartz' rapier. The demi-human, freed from the guards, runs over to me and hides behind me. "Heartz! What's going on here?!" Heartz scoffs, looking over to me. "I should be asking you the same question. What do you think you're doing in my Basilicom?!" I aim the Bone Magnum at her, as she points her rapier at me. "Where do you get off killing innocent demi-humans?!" Heartz' visor opens on the left side, revealing the black flame behind it. "'Innocent'? These disgusting animals walked into MY nation! Seriously... I don't get how Spade could take a liking to these demons..." I turn to the demi-human, and give her my hand. "Do you trust me?" The demi-human nods, taking my hand. "Alright then... Hold on tight!" I shoot at Heartz, as she deflects with her rapier, just as I break open the glass window and leap out with the demi-human. Heartz slams her rapier on the floor. "Guards! Catch those two! Don't let them escape!" We land outside of the Basilicom, me carrying the demi-human bridal style as I take off running down the streets. A group of guards break through the front entrance of the Basilicom, all armed with stunsticks, as they make chase. I look behind us, as the group of guards grow in size as a literal tank comes up behind them. "$#!%...!" I pick up the pace, just as someone reaches out to me. "Quick! In here!" I listen to the person and turn left into a dark alley, following the person down into the sewers. The person checks if the coast is clear, and then exhales. "It's a good thing I was in the neighbourhood..." The person looked to be a wolf demi-human, with wolf ears sprouting out of her grey hair. She looked to be in her late teens, maybe eighteen or nineteen. She was wearing what looked to be a black hood with fur on the inside, I'm assuming rabbit fur. I put the cat demi-human down, as she looks back to me. "Thank you, mister." ~ "No problem." The cat demi-human looked about fourteen or fifteen, she had black hair with cat ears resting on top, her clothes were torn and dirty and she had some wounds on her. "Also, drop the mister. Just call me Dorian." The cat demi-human nods. "Okay!" ~ "Speaking of which, do you have a name?" ~ "A...name?" The wolf demi-human looks to me. "Normally, us demi-humans don't have names. Only on a rare occasion do we get one." ~ "Do you have one?" ~ "I actually do... Although, the one who named me isn't around anymore... My name's Adolpha." ~ "Nice to meet you, Adolpha." ~ "likewise." I look down to the cat demi-human. "If you wouldn't mind, I could give you a name?" She immediately lights up and nods excitedly. "Yes, please!" ~ "Alright... Um... How about... Zoey?" ~ "Hmm... Zoey...? Sure! I like it." Adolpha pats Zoey's head. "We should head somewhere safer to get you some new clothes and fix up your wounds." Adolpha leads us to a sliding panel on the wall, which opens a new path off of the sewer, leading to a large open area, with other demi-humans walking around. "Welcome to the Rebellion. Demi-Haven."
