Theodore:

"You're back!" Mom said as she walked over to me, smiling wide.

"It's not like I had gone to Italy," I said as I removed my coat and put my keys on the nearby table.

She laughed.

"Are there visitors? I saw a car in the driveway," I said.

"Yes. They are in Dad's study," Mom said smiling.

"You can call him by his name. When you call him Dad, it sounds weird," I said.

"Why is it weird? I am doing this to educate you," she said.

"I'm not a little toddler anymore," I said.

"You are not. Also, your Dad asked for you in his study. He wants you to meet the visitors. Wash up and go," Mom said.

"Why do I need to wash up? I am ever handsome!" I said.

"How could I give birth to a narcissist!" she said smiling.

"OK ok! I have to go!" I said.

"That's good. The visitors have been here for a little whole only," Mom said.

"Gee Mom... I have to go as in go to the washroom," I said.

"Good. Make yourself presentable," Mom said.

"I want to pee," I said as I rushed. She smiled, her hands folded against her chest.

"Aren't I cute?" I asked.

She sighed as she hit me softly on the head. I smiled rushing up to the washroom.

Minutes later, I walked into the study to see a man sitting alongside Dad on the couch drinking.

"That's my son. Theodore Payne," Dad introduced.

"Yeah. I am his son. As for proof, here are my good looks," I said. Dad looked at me as the man laughed.

"Certainly handsome. Anyways, I am Martin Bloomingham," he introduced.

"Bloomingham. It sounds quite familiar," I said.

"He is quite the champion at business locally," Dad said.

"Oh," I said.

"Why don't you sit down, Theodore?" Martin asked.

"Alright," I said as I sat down on the chair looking at them.

"What are you studying?" he asked.

"I am at Weston International. A grade 11 student," I replied.

"Oh. My daughter goes there," Martin said.

"Oh," Dad said. I caught the tone his voice that meant he was pretty much done this guy.

"Actually daughters. Three of them go there," he replied.

"That's good," Dad said putting an end to the conversation.

"Anyways. Let's keep this meeting short. See you next time, Mr. Bloomingham," Dad said as he got up.

Martin got up as he smiled. I didn't get up.

"See you later, Martin," I said as the visitor left.

He left as Dad closed the door.

"Damn you have nerves! So rude!" he said.

"I saw how much you were disliking every minute of this. I relieved you," I said smiling.

"You remind me of myself when I was young," he said.
