The day Hope was dreading had rolled around so fast it felt like summer never happened. She wasn't ready for any of her finals or to leave she was the most popular girl in school how could she not be her Mum is the saviour and a lot of the girls fancied her dad
"Hope are you up?" Emma called
"Yes mum" she called back as she hopped into the shower. She knew she had to make an impression on her first day back at school otherwise she would lose her status she watched it happen to Brooke (granddaughter of maleficent) and she did not want it to happen to her so she wandered over to her wardrobe and pulled out her black leather skirt, her white off the shoulder shirt, her black over the knee boots and a faux diamond headband to put in her black curled locks. She grabbed her jacket (a leather one obviously) and headed down stairs
"Woah woah woah!" He dad said "turn it around and go and change!"
"Dad it's fine!" She laughed as she walked into the kitchen
"Hope you look nice" Emma smiled from the counter "do you need a lift or?"
"No I'm gonna walk with Dex" she said trying to hide her smile
"Two meters!" Killian yelled from the corridor both Hope and Emma laughed at him before there was a knock on the door. It was Dex.
"Jonesy you ready?" He laughed leaning against the door frame
"Yeah wait no I need to go grab a gloss I'll be back in a second!" She said rushing back up to her bedroom
"She definitely does not get that from me!" Emma told Dex
"It's not like she needs any of it anyway" Dex smirked
"Aye lad she doesn't now say it with me..."
"Two meters" they both said
"Dex come on" Hope whined from the front door
"I'm coming" he shouted. The pair left and wandered through the Forest Hope found herself doing everything in her power to prevent herself gazing into Dex's brown orbs but if she wasn't staring at that she was staring at his beautifully combed brown hair
"What have I got a bug on me or something?" He jumped Dex was deathly afraid of any kind of bug no matter how small
"No although it'd be funny if you did!" She giggled before he jabbed her on her arm. The two turned the corner and there is was Enchantica High the two walked in and surrounding her locker were their friends Melody (daughter of Ariel and Eric), Darling and Dalton Charming (twin son and daughter of Cinderella and her Prince Charming) and finally Ana (daughter of Tiana and Naveen)
"Hope hey!" Darling called as she dashed over to hug her "how was your hangover?" She laughed
"Can't have been anywhere near as bad as yours!" She laughed
"True Mom was furious when we got home Dalton brought May home with him and I was puking everywhere!" She smirked
"May as in August's daughter?" Dex asked
"Yes probably not one of my finest hours but I actually really like her!" Dalton grinned. The group turned and headed to their first class. History. As Hope tried to walk in she was stopped by Brooke
"A little dragon told me you left Melody's party because I showed up!" She laughed
"Yeah I can't be bothered with you anymore Brooke we were so close until you want all 'scary dragon bitch' on me so just move" Hope told her and she did which for Brooke was unusual. Just then Queen Snow waltzed in and began teaching the class
"Ok class today we're looking at the history of true love!" She smiled "as most of you are aware the majority of you were products of true love!"
"Yeah well I'm not!" Brooke laughed as she high fived the girl sitting next to her
"Ok well can anyone tell me the most popular true love stories?" And just as always Alex's hand flew up "yes Alex"
"Well theirs you and Prince Charming, Sleeping Beauty and Prince Phillip, Aladdin and Jasmine and Hope's parents!" He called Hope rolled her eyes she knew her parents were famous but she hated when her classmates used them in examples
"Yes exactly correct ok so the sheets I'm handing out now you need to learn ready for your pop quiz at some point during this week!" She smiled and with that the bell rang Hopes next class was English that was taught by Belle
"Ok guys settle down I'm not going to ask you to do too much we're just going to go over your reading list for the year ok!" She wandered around the classroom handing out a sheet of paper with over 50 books on it that ranged from fiction to non fiction to academic to 'fun' Belle began to talk the class through the list when the bell rang for lunch. Hope and Darling met up with everyone at her locker and headed down to the canteen Hope put her tray out and was given a ham sandwich with crisps
"Grannnnyyyy!" Hope whined
"Fine here you go kiddo!" She smiled swapping Hope's tray for a new one with a grilled cheese, onion rings and a can of coke
"Thankyou!" She smiled as she turned to go back to her table
"You can really work your way around Granny!" Dalton laughed slightly annoyed he couldn't do it
"I guess my mum being the saviour has its perks!" She laughed. Brooke came over and slammed her hands on the table and began to try and taunt Hope
"Brooke seriously get over yourself no matter how hard you try I'm not going dark! I'm better than that and as you fully well know I have the purest heart in all of the realms!" She sweetly smiled at Brooke who was furious
"You may have won the battle but I will win the war!" Brooke yelled as she stomped off
"You keep telling yourself that one!" Hope laughed
"Come on we've gotta get to PE if we don't you know Coach Graham will have a fit!" Darling said pulling Hope up from the table
"Ugh I hate it! It's not like we ever do anything good it's just running it always is!"
"Your right Hope only today I'm going to make it more interesting I want you to race Brooke!" Coach Graham told her
"Easy!" Hope said as she stretched her way over to the start line Brooke crouched down next to her and smirked "You won't win this one Princess!" Brooke taunted but before Hope could reply Coach had set them off at first it looked as though Hope was going to loose until Brooke caught sight of her Mom and Grandma flying by and stopped for a moment Hope sprinted past her and over the finish line
"Sorry what was that 'you won't win' oh sweetie it looks like I just did!" Hope said flipping her ponytail over her shoulder
"Well done Hope!" Coach Graham called "right class over hit the showers you lot!". That was it the first day back at school done Dex walked Hope back to her palace and left her at the gate
"I don't fancy facing your Dad again but I'll see you same time tomorrow?" He smiled
"Yes I'll be here waiting!" She smirked as she walked into the palace.
