He did what?!

Hope awoke to a loud shouting coming from downstairs, as much as she didn't want to move she needed to find out what was going on. When she finally made her way downstairs she found Dalton sat in their front room arguing with Daniel.
"Hope your awake!" Dalton beamed upon seeing Hope
"Aye, but your supposed to be..." Hope started completely baffled as to why both of them were at her house.
"Well he's not!" Daniel whined
"So what's going on?" Hope asked shaking her head
"Daniel is moving in!" Dalton sighed clearly unimpressed and Hope knew exactly why, so before she asked any further questions she turned to Dalton and tried to get to the bottom of his apparent bad mood but before she could get her words out he had already huffed at her and rolled his eyes multiple times
"Ok," she laughed "when did you get back?" Hope asked scrunching her nose cutely at him trying to bring out another smile.
"About an hour ago!" He yelled
"Calm down, take a shower and I'll deal with him!" Hope smiled.
Dalton left the room with a huff as Hope threw herself down into the couch. She let out a sigh of relief to be home. The last three days had been unexpected and bumpy to say the least.
"What's his deal?"
"Kings and Queens meetings he hates them, nobody listens to what he says... anyway you don't need to know that!"
Daniel sat on the couch opposite her and began to cry. Hope looked at him in utter shock, she hadn't seen him cry since he was like 7. She knew something was going on he wouldn't just pack up and leave Reginas.
Although he probably should be living on his own by now but because of curses and ogres he hadn't found the time. Hope scampered off to the kitchen and returned with a tray of hot cocas and cookies. She placed them down on the table she took her cocoa and watched as Daniel's whole body shook as he took his.
"What's going on kid?" He laughed at the fact she had called him 'kid' when in reality she was two years older but he was actually now ten years older (thanks to his escape before the curse)
"So you know how Gideon took that year out in the real world to decide what he wants to do?" Hope nodded only just remembering he had and remembering the huge fit she had thrown as her parents had forbid her from going on her own or with Gideon "well he's started making a TV show..."
"Good, I'm sick of watching football or the same crap I've seen thousands of times!"
"Anyway, he's making some real housewife show?"
"Oh now you've done it!" Dalton laughed as he noticed Hopes overly excited face. Daniel looked at Dalton in complete confusion "she's obsessed!"
"Oh ok, but now there's always people at ours and Dad well he's... he's been having an affair!" He blurted out quickly throwing his hands over his mouth
"Shit!" Hope and Dalton cursed. Daniels head was now in his hands as he let out a gentle sob although Hope was intrigued as to how he knew, Robin and Regina were fated to be together. Why would he throw that away?
Daniel then told them the tale of how he had been out with his friends in Sherwood Forest when he had seen his dad flirting with the barmaid
"Mate, that's not an affair that's trying to get a free drink!" Dalton laughed blissfully unaware of the scowl he was receiving from his fiancé.
"Alright, what about kissing the wench?" He spat
"No need to be so foul mouthed!" Hope scolded
"Really because I saw your little showdown with Brooke and Melody so I do believe you have no room to speak Captain!"
"Lay off!" Dalton warned "if you intend on staying here I suggest you watch the way you speak to Hope!"
"Sorry, I'm just mad!"
"It's alright but what does this have to do with Gideon's reality show and you moving in here? I mean your what 25 now? Shouldn't you be living with Chloe?"
"Well yeah but the curse stopped time so technically your  10 years older but you still look 17/18!And I don't want my dads affair to be all over the forest which it will be if Gideon keeps mom on this show!"
Regina was a big girl she could most definitely look after herself.
"Why do all you men think we need saving? Does something about the women in our land scream 'I'm weak and helpless'?" Dalton and Daniel both looked at each other carefully trying to craft their next sentence as if it offended Hope they were both in for a night of listening to her drone on about how she didn't need saving and then the list of her female friends and family that saved themselves or other people.
"No! Of course not!" Was all they could come up with and luckily it sufficed.
Before long the conversation turned back to Robins 'affair' so Hope did the only thing she could think of. She called him. Much to Daniels protesting she called Robin and asked him straight about his 'affair'.

I don't want to appear like I'm causing trouble or anything but...
What's going on?

I'm sorry it's just I was out in Sherwood Forest and I saw you kiss a barmaid. I shouldn't have jumped to conclusions!

Hope hung up the phone and shot an almost murderous glare at Daniel. How dare he sit in her home and accuse his father of having an affair when he had been the one having the affair.
She couldn't contain her anger with him and began to rant to him about what his dangerous accusations could have done to his parents and the rest of the family.
"Jeez, Hope I'm two years younger than you stop yelling at me like your my mother!"
"Your lucky she's not!" Regina growled as she entered the front room
"Mom?"
"Yes, now I suggest you get in the carriage before I allow Dalton to knock you the hell out!" Dalton took Daniel out to the carriage whilst Regina spoke with Hope.
"I can't believe he did that!" Regina sighed
"It could have been worse?"
"Really? How so?"
"I don't know, it could've been true?"
"Yes I suppose it could've been"
