Ruin my life!

Emma and Killian arrived in Arendelle days later to find a weak and fragile Hope living on the couch in the royal castle.
Once she had seen her parents Hope feared she was going to be lectured or yelled at but they did the complete opposite.
"Hope you scared us!" Emma cried
"I'm sorry, I couldn't stay there anymore!"
"What's happened lass?" Killian asked wanting her side of the story rather than the water down version he'd revived from Dalton
"He doesn't speak to me anymore he's so focused on 'fixing his kingdom' but it's not even broken!" She yelled making a point of calling him he instead of using his name but just then Dalton cleared his throat.
Hope looked at him as if she'd been shot and then at her parents (who had no idea she wouldn't want to see him) with complete annoyance, as far as they were aware it was nothing they couldn't fix but as they left the room Darling filled them in on what was going on and knew she was right.
"Hope, please let me explain!"
"Explain what? That you don't want to be with me anymore? That your kingdom is more important? What Dalton?"
"We were threatened with war!" He yelled
"That's why you shut me out? Your joking aren't you? Not only am I your fiancé I'm the admiral of your navy! Why wouldn't you tell me?" But then it hit her like a brick wall, she fell back into the chair and threw her head into her hands
"It's because I'm the reason war has been threatened aren't I?"
"Unfortunately yes!"
"What did I do? Who threatened the war?"
"Elijah did, remember when we came to visit and me and Elijah had that big fight?" Hope gently nodded "it was because you had been going on about he and Darling having another baby but she can't!"
"Oh my god! I've ruined everything! I ruined your life, your kingdom, your relationship with your brother-in-law and probably multiple other things!" She sobbed
"Hope, I would gladly allow you ruin my life over and over if it meant you were in it! Elijah has agreed to put what happened behind us upon seeing you like this and Darling isn't and was never upset!"
Hope couldn't even speak, how could he still want her after everything she/Captain Swan/Leia had done but she didn't really care. She never intended on leaving him she just wanted to scare him into thinking she was leaving him but then she realised why she had left him, she quickly pulled herself from his arms and sat at the other end of the couch from him
"I don't think I can forgive you!" She sighed
"What?"
"Dalton, you said some horrid things about Leia and the shark bite!"
"Hope please! That was fear! Fear of losing you!"
"Maybe you should have thought about that before rushing off at three in the morning, attending meetings at midnight or not even coming home at all!"
From the other side of the closed door Emma, Killian, Sam, Darling and Elsa were all listening in on the argument trying to decide who's side to take. Sure Dalton had said some shitty things to Hope but she had knocked him out and almost killed him but he had also completely forgotten about her the 6 months prior to this.
But Emma had had enough of listening to Hope do what she had done to Killian oh so many times before. She burst into the room and decided she would have a word with Hope.
She sent Dalton out and sat Hope on her knee just as she would when she was a child and had done something silly.
"Mum, is this necessary?" She scoffed wafting her hand over them
"Yes it is! Look kid, I'm not about to let you ruin your own happy ending because he spent to much time working or he said some hurtful things,"
"It's not easy to be alone all the time!"
"You wanna talk about alone?" Hope rolled her eyes and shook her head unwilling to listen about how Emma felt abandoned for the first 28 years of her life "Hopey, you have never and will never be alone! I know how hard this is on Dalton,"
"Wait! Your siding with him? Mum you never ran a kingdom or left Dad feeling completely alone!"
"No I never ran a kingdom but I did leave your Dad feeling alone a lot back when we live in StoryBrooke..."
Flashback to before Hope was born
Emma had been working for weeks and refusing to take a break as a method of distraction for who knew what.
He understood that Emma was busy being the saviour and the Sherif all at once but it wouldn't be so hard or time consuming if she would just let him help.
If he even breached the subject Emma would completely blow up and he would never know why. She claimed she was 'protecting him' but from what?
Eventually he decided he couldn't do it anymore he was living in their house but he may as well have been living there alone. Henry was living with Regina as he was sick of the constant outbursts from Emma.
So Killian decided he would give Emma the space she so clearly wanted, he left her a note and headed for the Jolly Rodger.
Emma arrived at her home to find nobody was in 'thank-god' she thought, she couldn't deal with Killian's constant questions or Henry's concerned looks. She needed time to think about how she was going to tell them both and how they would react but as she approached the kitchen she noticed a note addressed to her on the counter
Swan,
I don't know what's going on, what I've done or if there's someone in town but you clearly need your space and if that's what the lady insists then I will happily oblige.
When you feel ready to speak again I will be waiting for you on the Jolly Rodger... until then I love you.

Emma let out a sigh and only now realised she couldn't keep pushing people away in fear of losing them. She drove over to the ship to find Killian in his quarters deep in sleep. This was this first time he'd slept in weeks, she had noticed when she was creeping out early in the morning in back in late at night he was always half awake never fully asleep.
She hated to wake him but she knew she had to. At first he was confused he thought she hadn't received the letter but if she hadn't why would she have gone there?
He looked over at the chair she had sat herself on and waited for her to say something and eventually she did
"I'm pregnant!"
Present day
"Mum, he's not pregnant! He's ignorant!"
"Maybe he thought he was protecting you"
"I don't need protecting! If there's anything you taught me it's that I don't need to be saved!"
Emma slightly smiled but was also kicking herself, Hope had unfortunately picked up her stubbornness. She was mostly Killian why was the only thing she'd given Hope her stubbornness?
"I know that, he knows that but maybe it wouldn't kill you to let him save you this one time?"
"Mum? Come on! Nobody ever saved you!"
"Didn't they?"
Hope looked at her mother in complete shock she knew dribs and drabs of the family's past but had no idea her mother was ever saved by anyone.
"Before you were born I was in a crappy place. Nobody needed a saviour anymore and I felt useless... then we found out we were expecting you and you saved me! Now I'm saving you... go out there and take the poor boy back!"
