It had been a few weeks since Hope had heard from her family and she had become concerned. Normally she'd hear from her family at least twice a week but normally they'd be informing her of the newest villain or problem they had to deal with.
She and Dalton had been trying for a baby but'd had no luck. But when Hope received a call from Regina she was glad that she wasn't with child just yet.
Hope had been working when Regina called to inform her that Lucy had let Brooke out of her cell when she had stayed after her birthday and Hope was furious.
Hope couldn't believe Lucy had let Brooke out but she also struggled to understand why Brooke hadn't made a move yet, unless she had and nobody had noticed.
She paced her office for hours thinking what she was going to tell Dalton, he had a kingdom to think of and Brooke was a huge threat to that kingdom but she was also a huge threat to their marriage.
It was then that the phone calls from her family began pouring in, sure she spoke to her parents daily but apart from them she hadn't heard from the rest of the family and the constant calls checking she was ok were driving her insane. Hope knew she had to call Dalton and tell him what was going on but she didn't want to pop their little bubble of bliss. Between them trying for a baby and being newly married they had a practically perfect life.

After her phone call with Dalton she felt far less guilty despite the fact she had actually done nothing wrong. She and Sam sat and went over the case of Henry Turner in fact the fleet had him surrounded they were waiting on orders from her.
"Tell then he's to remain alive! They bring him and the chest to me!" She ordered, Sam left the office and Hope couldn't help but start bawling.
If Lucy hadn't had let Brooke out her life would've been going swimmingly. But it wasn't.
She had finally caught the one person she had been hunting down since Dalton had put her in charge and instead of feeling overjoyed she felt crappy.
She and her mum had worked around the clock trying to find Turner and it had actually brought them closer together. Hope had never been overly close to her mum, mostly because she was always off saving some village or something, but since she had been looking for Turner they had become inseparable.
Only then did it hit her that she would have to be the one to deal with Brooke. It wasn't exactly like she could get anyone else to do it for her although technically it wasn't her fault she was once again free to unleash hell on the kingdoms.
She calmed herself down and began to think logically about how she could bring Brooke down without her realising it. But she couldn't think of a single way to, she knew she wouldn't got to her mum or grandma as they'd left the realm not too long after Brooke had cast her curse, her dad was dead and she had murdered her brother. She was completely alone, unless she'd enlisted the help of someone but realistically who would want to work with a control freak like Brooke?
Hope couldn't sit in her office anymore she had to go out and find her before Brooke made a move that would throw all of the kingdoms into ruin.
Hope rode through the forest towards Brooke's brothers cottage to find it crumbling and empty, there weren't very many places in the forest that meant anything to Brooke but the ones that did she would never leave to rot like this. She left the cottage and ventured further into the forest looking for Brooke when her phone began to ring

Hope? Where the hell are you?

You've gone looking for Brooke haven't you?
