The five of them cautiously made their way down the stairs making sure they stayed out of view and luckily enough for them Hopes captor hadn't spotted them or heard their rather loud entrance.
Emma poked her head around the wall between them and Hope, it was safe to say she wasn't at all shocked when she discovered who had been holding Hope hostage.
It was Brooke.
But then she realised Hope wasn't hurt, she didn't appear to be in any pain and then it dawned on her why.
Brooke was in love with Hope.
Just as when Dex had taken her to keep her to himself.
Emma repeatedly blamed herself for Hope being taken by Dex all those years ago and Killian knew she was blaming herself this time around as well.
It looked as if Brooke was actually taking pretty good care of Hope besides the fact she had put her to sleep, usually you could only be placed under a sleeping curse once but Brooke had found away around that issue.
She sat beside Hope as she slept just watching over her it was disturbing to say the least, it looked like she'd been sat like that for days just when Emma thought it couldn't get any worse Brooke began to sing.

It was only once Emma had clued everyone else in on what exactly was going on. Killian then pushed his head around the corner and couldn't help but see a three month old Hope sleeping soundly in between both he and Emma a small smile graced his face as he relived the memory but he was quickly snapped out of it when Emma began to run through how they would get Hope out of there.
Luckily enough Killian didn't actually have to do that much fighting he'd been given the job of grabbing Hope and getting her out as fast as he could.
It wasn't that he wasn't a fan of getting out of the dreadful place as fast as possible but he couldn't stomach the idea of leaving Emma down there. But he knew his wife could handle herself lord knows she'd proved that to him at least 100 times.
When Brooke was least expecting it Emma crept up behind her and tapped on her shoulder almost scaring the life out of her.
"What? How did you..?" Brooke panted trying time catch her breath
"Next time you kidnap my daughter I suggest you make sure you hide her somewhere that isn't her grandfathers home either that or make sure you don't leave anything leading us to you!"
"I didn't kidnap her! She came willingly!" Brooke stated matter of factly as she approached Emma
"So that's why she was screaming down the phone?" Emma laughed sarcastically "I must remember to do that the next time I'm agreeing to do something!"
"What do you want?" Brooke asked but she already knew what they wanted and they weren't having her at least not whilst she was breathing.
Emma rolled her eyes before throwing a blast of magic at her that knocked her off of her feet, whilst Emma kept Brooke busy Killian snuck behind her, grabbed Hope and made his way out.
Brooke made her way onto her feet when she noticed Hope was gone, she looked at Emma with a look that probably could've killed her before using a bit of magic of her own.
"How did you get her away from me? She loves me! I love her! How dare you take her from me!" She yelled as she threw Robin and Snows arrows to the ground
"Kid, her daddy's a pirate he's pretty good at getting into places he probably shouldn't be in!" Emma smiled smugly completely ignoring the fact that Brooke was deluded enough to believe Hope felt anything towards her but hatred
"What like other women's beds?" That took Emma completely off guard, she was always aware Killian had been what could only be described as a 'Lady's man' but she never thought she'd actually become as insecure about it as she felt right about it right now.
Luckily enough during her moment of shock her father had jumped in front of her and had taken a stab at Brooke that had actually stunned her for a moment or two whilst Emma pulled herself out of her shock.
"Got you there didn't I saviour? Then again I guess if it took you almost three weeks to find your own daughter I guess you can't be that good of a saviour?" Brooke taunted but Emma had stopped listening and was actually starting to kick Brooke's bratty arse.
Killian rode of into the forest with Hope he kept a constant eye on her on the off chance she woke up but he didn't want to deprive Dalton of the chance to wake her up.
What the five of them hadn't realised was that Dalton and Regina had returned early from their meeting and Neal had tipped them off as to where they were going.
That boy had certainly inherited his mothers ability to keep a secret.
Dalton and Regina quickly made their way to the cottage and it was impeccable timing as Emma was growing tired, Robin and Snow had run out of arrows (I mean who brings ten arrows to a witch fight anyway, who did they think they were... Hawkeye?) and Brooke had snapped Charming's sword.
"Great! There's more of you!" Brooke snapped upon being hit by a blast of Reginas magic
"Where's Hope?" Dalton asked concern filling his voice "oh my god! She's not...?"
"No! She's not dead, Killian got her out and headed... I actually don't know where he's taken her," Charming smiled filling him in
It had taken them just short of an hour to do so but they had finally taken Brooke down. Emma had sent word for Lily to return to collect her daughter but until then she would be held in the Dark Ones cell at her parents castle.
"Emma?" Dalton smiled jogging over to her "Two things... first did you find out why Brooke had Hope and secondly do you mind finding out where Killian has taken her?"
"I know where Killian's taken her we're heading there now and Brooke had her because she is in love with her!" Emma admitted
"Wow! Why do these people never just tell her?" He laughed remembering that was the exact reason Dex had kidnapped her
"Honestly? I have no idea!" Emma laughed "But now I need to ask you something..."
"Anything!" He smiled
"Have you or Hope noticed any of her stuff go missing?"
"She mentioned something about not being able to find a photo of the three of you and one of her dresses but other than that no," he shrugged thinking nothing of it
"Well, Brooke's been collecting stuff of Hopes for weeks but not just from your house she's been taking it from ours as well!"
"How long did she plan on keeping her down there for?" Dalton asked slightly afraid of Emma's answer
"Forever I presume, she honestly believed Hope is in love with her!" Emma laughed before Dalton joined her.
Not long after they arrived at the place Emma had instructed Killian to take Hope and she was surprised he had found where she meant.
She told him to take her to the place she realised she was in love him and surprisingly he knew where that was just as well as she did.
Emma and Dalton arrived at the docks where they found Hope sleeping in her fathers lap as he sat watching the horizon
"Feeling calm?" Emma teased remembering how he told her during their time in StoryBrooke the horizon helped to calm him
"Very, I see your back early lad!" Killian smiled as he looked up at his wife and son-in-law
"Yeah, Merida felt that it wasn't necessary to keep us for three days so she let us go early!" He smiled
"Aye well I'm glad she did, it appears you have a princess to wake!" He smiled as he moved Hope from his lap and into Daltons arms.
Killian and Emma left him with strict instructions to wake their daughter and call them over a few moments after. He looked down at Hope and fell in love with her all over again if that was even possible
"Oh baby! What did she do to you!" He sighed before pulling her to him and gently placing a kiss to her lips. A few moments passed and before he knew it he was staring into those gorgeous green eyes of hers
"What happened to your eyes?" He asked
"Nice to see you too babe, yeah I'm ok thanks for asking!" She teased as she sat up
"Sorry it's just what happened to your eyes?"
"What do you mean?"
"Baby, the last time I looked at them they were almost as blue as the sea and now their leaf green!"
"That's weird, maybe it's a side affect?"
"Maybe. But I don't care you still just as beautiful as you were when I left!" He smiled as he kissed her lips once again
"Alright break it up!" Killian teased as he made his way back over
"Daddy!" Hope scolded
"Don't look at me like that! Hope, what happened..."
"To my eyes? I don't know!"
"They look exactly like your mothers!" Killian smiled
"Yeah they do!" Emma laughed "Maybe your slowly starting to look more like me than your dad!"
"That's not a bad thing Swan!" Killian smiled as he crashed his lips into hers
"Alright break it up!" Hope and Dalton teased.
