Boston
Hope was readying herself first her dinner with Zack when her phone began to buzz on the bed beside her
Hello?
Hi is this Hope Jones?
Uh...no sorry!
Oh ok... just out of curiosity who am I speaking to?
I'm Hope Diaz
Oh ok, I'm so sorry I bothered you!
That's quite alright
Hopes heart dropped, she'd know that voice anywhere. That was Lucy! Her mind began to run a million miles a minute with thoughts and she just couldn't keep up.
Luckily enough she was snapped out of her trance by Zack knocking on the door of her small apartment. She opened the door to find him stood in his best suit holding a dozen pink roses tied together with a glittery pink bow
"Oh Zack! They're beautiful!" She smiled taking them from him
"Oh! Who said they were for you?" He chuckled his brown eyes locking with hers
"Shut up!" She laughed "How do I look?" She asked slowly turning around
"Absolutely breath taking!" He winked "Now I'd love to stay and talk but we have somewhere to be!"
Enchanted Forest
Emma and Killian arrived back at their palace to find that none of the family had left instead everyone who hadn't been there before they had left was now sat in their front room. Regina had used her magic to make everyone something to eat and that's when Gideon's dedication documentary started.
It opened with the news bulletin that had played in StoryBrooke when Emma had announced she was pregnant, that was then followed by her first birthday party which was followed by everything else she had done in her life. The final shots were those from her wedding a video of her first dance with Dalton, Killian walking her down the aisle and Emma laughing with her about something nobody else found funny.
"She was so beautiful!" Eva smiled looking up at the screen
"Aye, she was!" Killian agreed
"I tell you what I don't miss," Daniel laughed
"What's that?" Regina smiled
"Hope being better than me at everything!"
"It's not hard is it!" Neal laughed before being slapped by Zara
Boston
"Zack?" Hope laughed as she realised where they were
"Just shush! You'll love it!" He smiled leading her inside.
He lead her down narrow corridors filled with childish drawings and rooms lit only by computer screens that had been left on until they came to his room.
"Ok I love you but what are we doing in your classroom?" She laughed as she sat in his chair
"If it wasn't for this very room we never would've met! My thoughts would never had been consumed by you every moment of everyday and I wouldn't be about to ask you this question..." he smiled as he got down on one knee and pulled out a velvet box from his pocket
"Hope Jones ever since we met 5 Septembers ago in this very room all I have ever wanted to do was 'put a ring on it' so would do me the honour of becoming Mrs Hope Diaz?"
"Yes! Of course I will!" She smiled wiping her tears away.
She looked down at the ring on her finger and couldn't believe how gorgeous the ring was. He had bought a princess cut diamond ring (if only he knew the irony) but the diamond was pink and it was absolutely beautiful.
"So you like the fact I propose in our classroom?" He smiled
"Our classroom?" She questioned before it hit her "OH MY GOD! I got the job!" She cheered before jumping into his arms
"That's right Miss Jones! We share a classroom now!"
"That's great! So what you get to be lazy three days a week?" She laughed
"No! I get to teach the older kids three days a week until Cathy has her baby and then I get the kids full time!"
"You'll love it!" She smiled
"I love you!" He corrected
"I love you too!" She smiled
"You know I would've asked your father for permission but you never mentioned your parents... or any of your family now that I think about it!"
He prodded carefully
"Oh ok what do you want to know?" She weakly smiled hoping he'd take the hint and drop the subject
"The usual stuff, where do you come from? What do your parents do? What you did before coming to Boston? What happened with you and James' dad?"
Hope suddenly felt her chest begin to tighten up, her palms begin to sweat and she began to struggle to breathe. She hadn't really given much thought to her 'true love' since she left sure she told James stories of their family but since he wasn't 6 anymore he didn't want to listen to the tales of the Saviour or even Captain Hook anymore.
Although he was still deathly afraid of the Dark Swan which majorly helped Hope when he wouldn't behave or listen to what she was telling him.
"Ok... well my mum is a Sheriff, my dad works on the sea, I used to work in the navy I guess as for James' dad we were happily married and then one day I got some news and I left him!" She sighed
"Oh... I'm sorry I shouldn't have asked!" He sighed shaking his head
Enchanted Forest
Emma decided she would finally venture up into Hopes bedroom so she could hang up her dresses and put out her photo frames, not like she'd be back to see or wear any of it again, but it brought her comfort.
Whilst she was up there she had flashbacks of her, Hope and Killian decorating the bedroom when Hope decided it was to 'childish' for her. She could still hear her daughter stressing at Killian because his hook was getting caught in just about everything.
She stood there laughing and smiling to herself when she locked eyes with the photos she had left around her dressing table mirror.
The photos that were around it make her smile grow even bigger if that was even possible, the pictures were mostly of her and Darling with one of her and Hercules that she must have forgotten to take down and the other of her with her parents.
"Your doing it again love!" Killian smiled when he came into the room
"I know! I can't help it!" She sniffed looking over the room once again "She was a Jones! She was supposed to cheat death!"
Killian laughed at his wife knowing he had thought that oh so many times over the last ten years, that and it should've been him and not his daughter.
"She did! At least four times! But know we have to go on with the rest of our lives hoping she is someplace better than where I ended up!" He smiled his eyes following Emma's to Hopes bed that had been left exactly how Hope had slept in it during Daltons last Kings and Queens conference before she died.
"I just hope wherever she is she's happy!"
Boston
"So... how are you feeling about our engagement?" Zack smiled, his veneers practically blinding Hope
"Happy!" She smiled laying her head back into his shoulder "Very very happy!"
