23. They can't see each other!!

Dahyun's POV

"Where is she?!" Chae exclaimed.

I heard Chae roar from inside. I'm a little bit scared to go in now that I know Chae is super mad.

Momo eonnie warned me about this Chae. I didn't know she would actually turn into a tiger. I'm dead now.

I prayed for myself to not get eaten by this tiger that is currently waiting for me behind this door.

"She isn't picking up?" I heard Chae ask Tzuyu.

I checked my phone and Tzuyu was calling me. I was in such a hurry that I didn't even realise I was getting calls.

I slowly turned the doorknob and opened the door revealing more and more of the beautiful indoor decor of the house and two of my favourite people. One who is currently calling me from her phone and the other who just made an eye contact with me which nearly made me trip. Damn those eyes look like it's shooting fireballs towards me. Next thing I saw after those imaginary fireballs was the person herself running towards me with full speed. I believe it lit fire along her track. The tiger approached so fast making me close my eyes tightly. I was ready to get devoured by her anger but what I received instead made me confused.

She hugged me. I guess she isn't angry at me?

"Pabo." Then she hit me.

"Ouch." I regret saying that but why did she hug me?

"I thought someone kidnapped you." She whispered.

I chuckled when I heard her reason.

"Of course not. I'm not a baby anymore Chae. I can take care of myself." I let go of her and gave my eye smile.

Then she hit me. I could tell the Chae who spoke to me in the phone earlier rose.

"I told you to hurry up and yet you came late. We've been waiting for you for the past 30 minutes." She shouted.

"Sorry, I got lost for a while." I lied. I can't tell her that I was talking with her ex-best friend who thinks she is dead. Well not anymore because she saw her when we were in Tokyo and she also heard her speak earlier.

"You scared us to death eonnie," said Tzuyu with a worried tone while approaching us.

"Sorry about that." I scratched my not so itchy head.

"You should be," said Chae in an upset tone.

"I'm really sorry Chae." I did some aegyo to make her laugh but instead, she cringed.

"My aegyo is cute alright. I don't know why you keep on cringing."

"Look at Tzuyu's face when you do aegyo." She said before laughing.

I turned towards Tzuyu but she didn't have a cringe face.

"She don't cringe on it. She likes it, right Tzuyu?" I asked Tzuyu but she is not responding. She kept quiet not knowing what to say. I think she was thinking whether she should say I look cute which is a lie, I can tell by the face she made just now or that my aegyo is really bad because that's what I'm seeing from her reaction.

I sighed. I've been defeated. My aegyo isn't cute.

"Fine, let's get ready and go wherever you were talking about." I said uninterested in wherever it is that we're going.

"Oh, the beach?"

Did she say the beach?

I turned myself around, facing Chaeyoung and asked her.
