49. Why did you leave me?

Momo's POV 

"Where is Chae?" Nayeon eonnie asked. Everyone was shocked and looking at each other. Possibly counting the number of people in the group. 

"Mina is missing too," Sana said worriedly. 

I think I know what happened. 

"Guys!!" The attention was now on one person, me. 

"I think I know where they are." I continued. 

"You do?" Jihyo asked worriedly. I nodded and smiled. I was calm which made her confused. 

"Leave them alone for now. They will come to us when they want to," I said in a calm tone. 

The 3mix (Nayeon, Jeongyeon and Jihyo) seemed to be confused as they have no idea about the relationship between Mina and Chaeyoung. 

"Aah, finally!!" Dahyun released an exaggerated sigh. 

"Seems like the plan is working," I said while looking at Dahyun. I smiled at her showing my happiness. 

"So far it's good. I just hope Chae won't shut herself." Dahyun said with a low smile. 

"Smile big. The fact that they are together right now is a big win for us." Dahyun now showed her beautiful eye smile but not big enough. SIt's normal to get worried about a friend. 

"Care to explain?" Jeongyeon eonnie asked. I looked at 3mix and they seemed so confused. 

"Let's go to a restaurant. We'll continue there. Anyways, I'm hungry." I whined and started heading to look for a restaurant. 

Shortly after I left, they followed me behind. Tzuyu and Sana caught on what we were talking about since they know about Mina & Chaeyoung but 3mix was still confused. 

Meanwhile... 

Chaeyoung's POV 

I'm sitting in one of the cabin of a Ferris wheel. I got abducted and brought here by none other than my ex, Mina. Right. It was her who pulled me and started running like a maniac. I have no idea what's going on in her head. She is sitting in front of me without uttering a single word, quiet just like me. There's only two of us inside this cabin. We'll be stuck in here for 20 mins. I don't know what to say. I have a lot of questions to ask but I don't know how to bring it to my mouth and speak it. It's so awkward to be honest. 

"How are you?" We both asked in unison, our eyes were locked staring at each other's face. We quickly looked away. Moved our heads in all directions but the front. The silence filled the cabin again.

Why is it so hard to speak to her? 

"I'm fine." I heard Mina utter those words.

"Good to know." I can't face her. I feel too guilty for breaking up with her and suddenly disappearing from everyone's life. 

Wait!! Why am I feeling guilty? Shouldn't she feel guilty for cheating on me? 

"How are you?" Mina asked. I came back to reality upon hearing her question. 

"Good." I answered monotonously. 

"Why did you bring me here?" I asked her sternly. I can't help but imagine seeing her & Jimin together that day laughing, enjoying each other's company, and kissing each other. It still breaks my heart. 

"I- I." She keeps on stuttering for some reason. It's been 5 minutes since we got in. We have 15 more minutes left and we'll be done. I want this ride to end fast so I can leave but a part of me wants to stay. In the past, we used to go on the Ferris wheel together. We would run away from Momo & Sana eonnie just to ride Ferris wheel. We always end up laughing when they chased us to the ride. We spend our time enjoying the view of the city lights at night from the top of the Ferris wheel. Those were one of the best moments we shared but right now the atmosphere is completely different.
