"Congratulations!", Valentine greeted in a scary good mood, "You are officially half-way through year 2 of NYABM!", Valentine proclaimed. Alec and the rest of the group cheered- it felt good to finally hit that milestone. "I know most of you will probably celebrate the next days, at least it's Valentine's day tomorrow and as I heard there will also be a midterm-party coming your way. I just wanted to let you know that the work will continue- a round of applause for Jia and Vivianne Penhallow!" All students stood up straight and applaused as two asian looking women walked up besides Valentine. "Hello students!", the younger one greeted with quite a bitchface. She wore a tight black tank top which matched her sneakers, whilst her neon-green sweatpants matched the little dots she drew under her eyes, intensifying the bold black eyeliner she wore. "I am Jia Penhallow and this is my aunt, Vivianne Penhallow." All the students applaused, more than slightly intimidated by the women. In total contrast to her niece, Vivienne Penhallow wore a short, tight silky dress, despite her sixty-something years as Alec knew because Wikipedia. Vivianne and Jia Penhallow were quite well-known choreographers. While Jia was specified on Hip-Hop and mainly Breakdance, her aunt was a professional pole dancer. "Most of you probably already know us, and to your surprise, I can share that we know most of you as well. We were in the pit at the open house because my friend, Helen Blackthorn asked me if we could be your hosts for the project week!", Jia proclaimed. "Us, the NYAMB staff decided you need a wider experience in dance as a sport with different discplines.", Valentine started explaining, "That's why we asked for Jia and Vivianne to take you and year three under their wing for 2 weeks and give you an insight on two different styles which you don't train every day- Jia's group will be focussing on Breakdance and Vivianne's group on ploe dance. You will put together a performance and perform at a fundraiser to gain experience in other styles and get reinspired." The students cheered- this was awesome! "Based off your performance in the open house we already assigned you a style- the more energetic and explosive dancers got into the break group, the ones with the greater body tension and flexibility got into the pole group. We will now read the names.", Vivianne said and the entire room went quiet. To be honest, Alec didn't know what he was hoping for. Pole dance would be such an unique experience but he also really wanted to try the polar opposite of ballet. Luckily, it wasn't really his choice to make anyways. "The breakdance group consists of:", Jia exclaimed and started reading the names:" Jonathan, Magnus, Maia, Gretel, Simon and Alexander. Congratulations, you officially made the cooler team." Alec grinned- he was on one team with Magnus- that was perfect. Like this they could hopefully finally spend some more time together. "This leaves the pole team with Raphael, Camille, Ragnor, Aline and Heidi.", Vivianne proclaimed proudly, "Jia's team might be the cooler one but we are definitely the better one."  "Let the games begin!", Valentine exclaimed. Everyone was about to cheer when Jia interrupted the atmosphere:" There is one more thing! This is important for everyone who is on team breakdance- for the final performance I have choreographed a group dance involving six dancers. For it to work out, there needs to be six dancers. This is why I have to ask everyone on my team who has recently been injured to raise their hand- you will be moved to team pole. This is no disadvantage or sort of discrimination- it's just that if one of my dancers can't perform, the whole thing doesn't work. If there will be only 5 instead of 6 dancers in the pole choreography, it will cause less trouble. For the good of the team, please be honest and let me know until 8 pm tonight. I will be in Principal Blackthorn's office. Have a great day!" Alec felt as if he just got lunched in the stomach- this couldn't be true. For one Magnus and him were lucky enough to end up on the same team but he had to ruin it for the both of then- again. Everyone around was celebrating but Alec just felt like crying. "What are you going to do?", Raphael asked and Alec shrugged- he has no idea. He knew he was well-rested and healed, but he saw that he was at greater risk to ruin it- but when has risk ever stopped him? But this time, it was not about him, it was about a whole team and a fundraiser. "Well, how do you feel?", Raphael asked and Alec shot a sarcastic gaze at him:" Like singing  in the shower and bake a rainbow cake." Raphael grinned and Alec couldn't help but chuckle- this was his life. As soon as something good was about to come, something bad would ruin it.
"Hey honey?", Magnus cheered and kissed Alec. To Magnus' obvious surprise, Alec leant into the kiss and grabbed Magnus' by his waist- the was what he needed. He could feel his boyfriend's soft skin under his raw fingertips, his full lips on his, smell Magnus' deodorant, feel his slightly spiky hair on his forehead. "Whoa-", Magnus gasped as Alec released his lips. "I need this.", Alec said heavy breathing and pulled his boyfriend back to him. Their bodies bumped against each other, their lips locked into each other like two pieces of puzzle, long lost but finally found. Alec felt the cold metal of Magnus' rings on his cheeks, his electrifying fingers right under his eyes. All his sensations intensified, it was as if he had an allergic reaction and sensed everything around him ten times more intensely than he usually would. And he got lost in all those sensations, in the kisses, the fingers on his face, the hair on his forehead- in everything but his thoughts.

Hello beautiful people! I hope you are doing great! Guess what- I am finally on summer vacation as well. Wishing everyone a safe and happy summer!
XOXO, AllyMaii
