"Did you receive my text?", Jonathan asked ales after ballet class. "Nope, sorry, I went to bed early yesterday- what's up?", Alec asked. To his surprise, Jonathan hasn't mocked him since their last talk. "I'd like to call in my second favor.", Jonathan says, "Meet me in my room in an hour and bring Magnus." "What does Magnus have to do with your plans?", Alec asked, obviously irritated. "You will find out early enough.", Jonathan replied and left. Alec scoffed and took a sip out of his water bottle. He was glad though that Jonathan seemed to use his favors quite frequently- that meant he would get it over with soon. "Good rehearsal, wasn't it?", Maia asked and Alec nodded, completely absent. "Hey, what's wrong?", Maia asked. "Nothing.", Alec said and tried to finish the conversation before it even properly started. "What do you mean by nothing? Alec, I can see that there's something bothering you.", Maia asked again. "It's nothing I can change something about.", Alec clarified. "That's a different thing- don't you want to tell me what's on your chest? You have been tense all the past time, I don't even know how to talk to you anymore.", Maia explained. "I'm sorry.", Alec apologized, "I am just a bit overwhelmed at the moment- there's a lot for me to think about." "What is it?", she asked, "Alec, you know you can talk to be about anything and everything. I have had your back during your fight with Jonathan, I have helped you cover your injury, I have supported you with Julian- I would do anything for you. You just need to give me a hint." Alec looked into his dance partners' eyes and his own darkened into the blue of a stormy sea before sunset:"So much is changing." "True.", Maia admitted. "I mean Maureen is leaving, that is going to leave Raphael in pieces. I am not going to be Julians mentor anymore. We are soon going to start our final year of NYABM. And Magnus- I don't knw what Magnus will do. He doesn't know either. I mean, he could graduate and I would understand if he wouldn't want to stay for another year. But I can't imagine this place without him and not knowing whether he is leaving or not is tearing me apart internally." "Keep going.", Maia assured him. Something was telling her she was about to break through to him. "And then there's my parents who have cut me off- I don't even know how I am going to pay for my final year. And on top of that there's Jonathan who has confessed that he has purposely tried to destroy my career by wrecking my leg but I can't even be mad at him because, as much as it disgusts me, he had a reason besides hatred.", he finished. Maia's jaw dropped but she decided not to ask any questions this was probably not the moment to be curios. She was just hoping that wasn't another one of Jonathans mind games. "That helped.", Alec admitted after a minute of silence. "I am glad it did.", Maia admitted, acting as if he hasn't just dropped a month load of bombs onto her with no explanation. "Thank you.", Alec said and pressed a kiss un her cheek before he went upstairs to get Magnus- now that he has gotten it all off his chest, it was time to face his problems.

"Here you are.", Jonathan said and welcomed Magnus and Alec into his room. To Alec's luck Magnus hasn't asked too many questions and decided just to do what had to be done. "Take a seat.", Jonathan commanded and pointed towards the kitchen chairs. On the desk laid a notepad and a pencil. Unlike Magnus' and Alec's room, Jonathans room was psychotically clean and smelled a bit like lemongrass. The last time Alec was here, he was so terrified of what was going to happen, he didn't even pay attention to his surroundings. This time, he seemed to scan everything. "So, what do you want?", Magnus asked to get right down to business, "And what am I doing here?" "Last time I needed knowledge.", Jonathan explained, "But this time I need information. And something is telling me that you, Magnus, know a lot more about the things that interest me than Alec." "Bring it on.", Magnus sighed. "Camille Belcourt.", Jonathan said and Alec froze- nothing good ever came with that woman. "I need answers. Explanations. Secrets. I need to know everything there is to know about Camille. And who better to ask about her than you, Magnus.", Jonathan stated with an evil grin. Alec swallowed hard. "I don't see why I should be revealing any of her personal information to you. If you don't know something, there's a reason why. You can't be on top of the world.", Magnus said calmly. "Oh yes I can. Watch me.", Jonathan snarled and got to his backpack. From out of there he pulled a large brown envelope with some stamp on it which Alec couldn't read from a distance. Out of this envelope, he pulled two transparencies- and not just some transparencies. Alec gasped- those were scans. His scans. "How did you get them?", he asked, his voice still flat from shock. "I don't reveal my sources. Nice, aren't they? They also show the date of diagnosis.", Jonathan said and put the scans back into his backpack. From the corner of his eyes, Alec could see Magnus staring at him in horror. "Don't even think about stealing them- as soon as you two have left this room so have I and those babies will be somewhere very safe- you can trust me on that. So you either talk or this goes right to Helen Blackthorn, of course including a nice letter from me.", Jonathan said, clearly satisfied with himself. "You disgust me.", Magnus spit. "Thank god that's not what we're discussing. Anyways, back to the topic- Camille Belcourt. Bring it on", Jonathan replied and opened his notepad.
