"Phoenix, no lie you look like that one bougee auntie that comes to the festivities and be messy for no reason with that fur coat on." I laughed, as she straight faced me

"Bitch, that's cause I'm bad and bougee don't do me." She rolled her eyes playfully then she arched her eyebrows "Look at you lookin like a bad bitch. I love the make up pooh!"

"Thanks I tried." I slightly smiled

"Girl try! You did that! Stepping on these old hoes necks!" She gassed me

Blushing I hid my face in my hands "Stawp you know I'm shy."

After I helped Ms.Apryl out in the kitchen she said it was okay for me, and Phoenix to go in the sitting room cause we didn't want to go into the living room so that's where we are now. Amiyah is in the dining room with one of Zion's girl cousin, Nae and her one year old daughter Journey.

Phoenix came over again tonight so she can say her proper goodbye when I get ready to leave. She said she wanted to spend some time with me for the last time. Her family already had their thanksgiving dinner at like one o'clock this afternoon. She said her momma cooked early so she can leave and stand in the line for Black Friday. She got dropped off here and now we are just sitting on the couch

"I got you something." She smiled pulling out a box from her purse

"I do too but it's upstairs."

"Oh well let's wait til after dinner."

We made small talk as more of Zion's relatives came in. His brother Zander came. He spoke and everything but I don't know in my gut just sense that he's off. Well his demeanor don't sit right with me. If that makes any sense at all. Ion know I'm probably tripping.

As we was talking Lay-Lay and Loni came in the sitting room. They sat between me and Phoenix and asked for our phones, us being nice we gave it to them. Loni was scrolling on Phoenix's TikTok while Lay-Lay was playing Subway Surfers on mines. Loni asked Phoenix if she wanted to do a dance with her and she agreed to it. I started laughing as they was dancing to Whole Lotta Choppas. All of a sudden Lay-Lay started airing out her parents dirty laundry.

"My momma and my daddy was fighting last night."

"Dang for real?"

"Yeah she kicked him out."

"Why?"

"Cause he cheated on her." She shrugged "With my teacher."

Oh my damn.

"Dang for real?"

"Mmhmm girl" Her eyes was glued to the phone "I like yo hair."
