Chapter 82

Author's P.O.V.

It was a freezing Sunday evening...Max had totally gone insane..She would always have a panick attack..Or would talk to herself every now and then..her moods changes quickly..From being distant to being so clingy...She doesn't smile or laugh..It was always blank...

All of this things worries the couple..Especially Cheryl...A normal teen with a great attitude turned to be an insane and depressed teen...A broken soul wanting to be fixed with the most powerful glue...Her parent's true love..

Now, the couple is sleeping peacefully in their room when they suddenly heard a loud scream coming from Max's bedroom..This made them shot up from their bed like lightning and run to their daughter's room in a flash to see her hugging her knee on the corner of her bed..her back against the wall looking terrified... The teen started crying uncontrollably..Her sobs fills the room..The couple shared a look before climbing into bed and cautiously move closer to Max...

"Baby..Its us.." Cheryl whispered but Max held her leg tighter edging back...She was scared and all she can picture is Daniel ready to beat her up again..

"Diana its okay.. " At the use of her other name Max looked up..This time she was sure that Daniel is nowhere to be found..He doesn't call her by her first name..

"Mam..." It was a shaky whisper..Her arms loosened as her Mam's touch makes contact with her skin..  The soft touch sending her back to reality..In the verge of a panic attack.She pulled her Mam and hugged her tight..As tight as possible breathing heavily on her shoulder..This sends Katy on..

She quickly exits the room and went down to the kitchen to grab a glass of water.. She then rush back to Max's room...to find Cheryl holding her daughter in her arms..Cheryl then opened her eyes as she feel prescence..Her eyes landed on Katy as she walk towards them...

"No one's gonna hurt you baby..."Cheryl whispered as her daughter sobbed in her arms...

"M-Mam...D-don't..D-don't let him get me..." Max spoke through her sobs.. Cheryl felt the highest form of guilt..Her mind was yelling to her that this is her fault...Its her doing..

"I-I won't let him get you..okay." She sniffed wiping the tear that had fallen from her eye..." Now..You need water.." She pulled away and wipe her daughter's tears as Katy handed Max the glass..

"I swear I would kill Daniel..When all of this is over.." Katy muttered..She had enough of this..And she want it to end as soon as possible..

"There we go..."Cheryl handed back her glass to Katy and wipe her daughter's tears replacing it with soft kisses on her cheeks..She wants to make her feel better..

"Do you want to sleep in our room instead?" Katy whispered...Max didn't respond..She just dropped her head on her Mam's shoulder and closed her eyes as she tries to settle down her breaths..

Cheryl took that as a yes..So she turned her head to Katy and give her a small nod.. When Max had the signal to be lift up..She put her arms around her Mam's neck and leaned in to her..cause her back is still sore...

Cheryl carefully and gently lift her daughter up and got out of bed. And they all walked out of Max's room...

"Mam..." It was barely a whisper but Cheryl heard it very well making her look down to her daughter who has still her eyes close.

"What is it baby..." Katy opened the door to their room as Cheryl walked in with her daughter in her arms..

"T-tomorrow...Please don't let me go again..Please.." Her tone was begging.. She doesn't really want to go back to her so called father anymore..She doesn't want to feel the pain he put her through..
