Sirens (Cheryl fanfic)

Chapter 103

"Mam this one is beautiful.." Max pointed the simple diamond ring underneath the glass. They've been in the shop for half an hour trying to find the right ring for Katy..

They were lucky that no paps are around wgen they entered the shop although the sales person recognized them but chose to be professional about it and just do his work.

"Can I have a look at this?" Cheryl asked and the man nodded taking out the ring. And its true. She finds it beautiful, in fact she finds it perfect . It was the perfect ring.

"I'll take it..How much."

"200,000 pounds" Max's eyes widen but Cheryl didn't seem to mind the price as she gave the man her card.

"200- What the f*ck mother..That's very expensive for a ring.." Cheryl giggled turning to her daughter giving her a kiss on the forehead.

"We could have bought a less expensive one."

"Babe, money doesn't matter okay.. I felt the ring was perfect.. It was the one..And thanks for finding it for us pet." Before Max could have replied, The man returned with the ring  already in a box.

"Here's your card ma'am and your item. Have a nice day." Cheryl took her card and the ring with a smile on her face and nodded taking her daughter's hand making their way out of the shop and straight in the car.

"Where are we off to next?" Max asked as she clasp on her seatbelt. Cheryl placed tge ring in her coat pocket making sure its hidden and Katy won't see it.

"We'll surprise your mum in her rehearsals..Her tour is tomorow." Cheryl turned the engine on and stepped on the gas.

"Take 5"

"Oh God." Katy collapse on stage taking a deep breath. She was exhausted and they only had done one round. She was slowly getting sleepy until she heard a loud clap making her shot up and her eyes immediately travelled to her lover and her daughter walking towards the stage making her spirits up.

"That was good.." Cheryl said loudly making Katy giggle as she layed on her stomach by the edge of the stage.

"What are you doing here?" Katy smiled as she leant down to kiss her Cheryl as for Maxene, she was lost on how big the arena is. She haven't been there and it amazes her on how wide it is.

"Sweetheart.." She snapped her head towards her mum with raised brows.

"Come up here and give me a squeeze..I miss you." Max smiled and run to the side of the stage going up and run towards her mum's awaiting arms.

"Mmm. I can hug you all day.." Max giggled at her mum's cuteness. She pulled away and kissed her on the cheek.

"This place is big."

"Yup and tomorrow all those seats will be filled with people."  Max's eyes widen at the thought of that making Katy giggle.

"Here.." The two looked up to see Cheryl holding out Katy's guitar to her making her confuse.

"What is this." Katy smiled as she took the guitar. Cheryl walked away leaving Katy confuse and came back with a mic in her hand making her grin.

"We'll sing together aren't we.." Cheryl winked making Katy giggle and shook her head as she turned back to her daughter.

"Baby, you go sit over the front row okay." Max nodded and got off the stage. As soon as Max had settled, Katy strummed her guitar and it catches Max's attention.

She finds it hard to trust someone

Max knows as she heard the first line from her mother that this is something special..It was something that she wasn't sure she heard before but she knows the song's about her. And she's trying to keep the tears in. She was happy about it. For the first time in months, she can truly say that  she's happy.

The song was finished and the couple open their eyes and travelled to their sniffing daughter in the front row seat. They wait of what she's going to say.

"I hate you guys..You made me cry again.. That was amazing" The couple let out a breath of relief and looked at their daughter in awe. They got off stage and run towards Max taking her into their arms.

"Aww my baby's crying again.." Cheryl cooed placing kisses on Max's face.

"Thank you for making me happy again." Max whispered as she wiped her tears completely. Katy and Cheryl exchanged looks not sure of what they heard.

"Y-you're happy?"

"Hmmm. Thank you guys." Max hugged the both of them tight. The happiness that the couple is feeling had doubled because of what Maxene had just said. They couldn't get more happier than what they're experiencing right now.

"I love you guys."

"We love you too sweetheart."

The night had come. It was the first day of Katy's tour. And in a matter of minutes she will be getting on stage. Her family and friends are on their seats as to Cheryl and Maxene stayed behind.

"Babe you'll be alright.." Cheryl whispered making Katy stop in her tracks and turn to Cheryl earning a small smile from the brunette.

"You'll be fine..You'll do amazing..." A sense of comfort was felt by Katy. With the soft voice of her lover eased the anxiousness she's feeling. She knows she can do this.

Without a word, Katy walked towards Cheryl immediately taking her lips making Cheryl shut her eyes feeling the kiss.

"What was that for?" Cheryl giggled as they both pull away.

"I need it." Katy smiled.

Knock Knock

"10 minutes Katy!" A man said making Cheryl shot up and called Max to her side which the teen gladly followed.

"Babe, go on... Go its showtime.." Cheryl giggled as they made their way out..

"Cheryl!"

"Oh Lily, can you take Max to her seat already.." Maxene was about to hold Lily's hand when Katy took hold of her arm making her look at her.

"Goodluck kiss.." Katy pouted making Max giggle. She hugged her mam giving her a kiss on her cheek twice making Katy smile.

"I love you Mum..Goodluck."

"Aww I love you too sweetie."

"Katy you have to go." Cheryl said making Katy nod.

"Babe, I need to go.. " Lily took hold of Max hand and they start to walk away. Max looked back and saw her mum was about to get on stage. She yanked her hand from Lily's hold and run to her Mum.

"Last hug." Katy smiled as she squeezed her daughter before pulling away.

"Now go.." Katy placed a kiss on Max's forehead and gave her a little push. Max had a smile on her face as she run to Lily.

"You'll do great.. I'll see you later on stage " Cheryl planted a kiss on Katy's lips  as the music starts and Katy mouthed 'i love you' to Cheryl before she rose up to the stage and cheers got louder.
