Chapter 39

I woke up very early but feeling very weak. My body is heavy, I'm having a hard time to breathe but even though, I managed to untangle myself from mam and got out of the bed. I coughed silently as I made downstairs and at the same time I heard knocking so I open the door not thinking twice.

"Miss me?" A grin form on my face and I jumped on her wrapping my legs around her waist and burrying my face on the crook of her neck.

"I miss you mum." I whispered as we entered the house closing the door behind her. She dropped her bags and wrapped her arms around me as I felt getting emotional again.

"I miss you too sweetheart." She whispered and pull away slightly kissing me all over my face and stopped to look at me. A sad and confuse expression form on her face making me look away and got on my feet stumbling a bit. I feel like a seaweed, I can't even stand for long.

"Are you okay?"

"Yea. M'fine."

"Where's Cheryl?"

"Still asleep. Mum she really needs you right now." I said as I sat by the sofa. She looked at me sadly and turn to the stairs.

"I'll fix this now." I gave her a small smile and with that she walked upstairs. I hope it will all get better soon.

Katy's P.O.V.

I'm shaking really. I am nervous. I don't know what's going to happen. I don't know if she still wants to be with me after I made her think that I believed the pictures over her that was so stupid for me to do.

I tiptoed in Cheryl's room to find her still asleep on her side facing me with hair covering her face. My heart melt at this scene. I miss Cheryl so much.

I made my way over to the bed taking off my shoes and slip in next to her watching her sleep. I gently remove the hair on her face and gasped a little when I saw her state. Puffy eyes and has a sad look on her face not the usual fresh and happy face I wake up to. Then my eyes landed to her cheek and I feel upset and furious. I'm upset because I wasn't over here and protect her and I'm totally furious with that mad woman for even hitting my girl.

I stared at her but then she started stirring making my heart race. She slowly opens her eyes and she looked at me with an emotionless face making me nervous.

"Hi" I whispered but she just looks at me straight in the eyes saying nothing. Her brown orbs that are used to be full of spark is now dark and blunt. She's totally broken

"Cheryl, its just a dream." She mumbles closing her eyes again. I let out a shaky breath. I haven't witnessed Cheryl in this state before and I hate it. I want the Cheryl I know back. The one who has a dimpled smile. The one who made me go crazy in love with her.

I took a deep breath and slowly leaned in softly kissing her. She doesn't respond for a while but then in a matter of seconds she kissed me back. Then I felt tears that weren't mine against my cherk making me pull away and saw tears rapidly going down her face.

"I've missed you." I whispered but came out as a shaky tone. She didn't respond and just looked at me with watery eyes.

"I'm real babe. I came here to see you." I whispered putting my arm on her waist pulling her closer to me and that's when she broke down crying non stop on my chest creating a lump on my throat.

"I-I'm s-orry Katy. I s-swear the a-"

"Ssshhh, I was suppose to be the one to apologize.. I-I acted like a b*tch to you. I'm s-sorry baby. I just love you very much that I got too jealous when I saw the article." We stayed like that for a period of time until Cheryl's sobs died down and turn into sniffs. She looked up to me and I gave her a smile and wipe her tears away. She flinched when I touch her making me pull my hand away.
