Cheryl's P.O.V.

She hates us. She won't let me touch her or let alone speak to her. I'll admit, I wasn't thinking when I said those words. My mind immediately went at the thought that if I tell Daniel the truth, he will take her away from me. And I don't like that. Call me selfish but I don't want to give her my daughter.

Katy told me off yesterday. We had an arguement and its my fault. All of this is my fault again. The paps already know because of the events yesterday and since thenmy phone didn't stop ringing and Lily's on the phone all night. I bet they're crowding outside hospital gates.

They've been waiting for this story. The moment they saw Max's face. And now I understand why she always kept her hood on. Its her walls, shielding her from the public eye. But now it came down and her identity is revealed making her so broken.

She hasn't spoke a word to me. Its a good thing she's asleep right now. I can touch her without her pushing me away.

"I miss you baby." I whispered and planted a deep kiss on her hand as a tear fell down. I don't know what to do anymore. Katy's not here to fix things up. She always fixes things up but right now she's also pissed at me. So what do I do now.

Suddenly my phone rang snapping me out of my stare at Max. I took it from my pocket and pressed answer right away not bothering to look who is it.

'Hello?'

'Cheryl, Where are you? Sarah came here with the papers. Is Max okay?'

'Kimba, Can you come around here at the hospital please.' I whispered resting my head on the side of the bed.

'Alright, we'll be there in twenty.'

'Thanks.' And with that I hung up and at the same time Daniel walked in carrying a bag.

"Goodmorning." He whispered with a smile on his face as he placed the bag on the table.

"Morning" I whispered. He walked towards us and gave us a cup of coffee.

"You look knackered."

"Thanks." I gave him a sarcastic smile making him laugh.

"You never changed. You're still the cutest." He smiled. Its a bit awkward for me to talk about the past cause I never had a good one.

"Have she woken up?" He whispered as he sat down at the bottom of the bed.

"Not yet."

"Cheryl, if you don't mind can I ask you a question." I felt nervous at his tone making me shuffle in my seat uncomfortably.

"Yea."

"Yesterday, I heard her Max say she wants her mum. But you're her mum. I'm a bit confuse." I sighed in relief and a smile form on my face.

"I have a girlfriend." I said simply. His jaw dropped making me laugh.

"Seriously, like in a relationship?"

"Yup. Why is there something wrong with that."

"Cheryl, you know I'm not like that. Now who's the lucky girl." I smiled at him and he raised his brows making me giggle.

"Katy."

"Katy who?"

"Katy Perry." His eyes widen.

"Katy f*cking Perry is your girlfriend."

"Ssshh you might wake her up." I whispered gesturing at Max whose eyes furrowed in her sleep and I find it cute. I turned to her and stroked her hair.
