Cheryl's P.O.V.
I was woken up by Max shaking me out of my sleep. I slowly squinted at her and sat up rubbing my eyes.
"What is it, Maxene." I croaked as I look at her properly. My eyes widen when I notice she looks white as a sheet and she's breathing heavily.
"Maxene, Are you okay? God you look so white." I immediately grab her other inhaler that I kept here in my room just incase and I put it on her mouth and pressed on it as she inhaled the gas. She let out a breath when she got her breathing back.
"What happened?" I asked as I put her inhaler away and hugged her.
"T-there's a man downstairs looking for you." I frowned and pulled away immediately.
"What?"
"He started asking me questions and I just panicked I guess." She whispers as I got out of bed.
"Stay here yea." She nodded as I planted a kiss on her forehead and stormed downstairs to see Simon sitted on the sofa making me turn into a bad mood. He won't stop annoying me.
"Cheryl who's t-"
"What did you told her" I said calmly but I'm really boiling inside.
"I just asked who she was and what she's doing here in your house, she didn't answer and just ran upstairs so I just walked in." I let out a breath and sat on the opposite couch facing him.
"Why are you here anyway?"
"Cheryl, I'm here for the same reason. I want you to please come back to the show." Again, its getting annoying. And I know he won't stop until he get what he wants.
"Fine, I'll do it. Are you happy?" I huffed. He sighed in relief and his face lit up.
"Finally, you came into your senses." I rolled my eyes at him and stood up.
"You got what you want so can you just please leave us alone." I said pointing at the door. He smirked at me as he stood up.
"Wait, I have one question." He said as I slightly pushed him out the door.
"I heard that you have a daughter is tha-"
"Bye Simon." I said andclosed the door in his face. And rest my back on it.
"Glad that's over." I sighed as I brought my hand up to my head rubbing my temple.
"Mam" I look up the stairs and saw Max looking at me with worried eyes. I gave her a smile as she walk down the stairs making her way towards me hugging me. I higged her back and planted kisses on top of her head.
"Are you okay now?" I felt her nod in my arms making me sigh in relief.
"Mam, who's that?" She asked as she pulled away but kept her arms around my waist.
"Simon Cowell babe." I said as I put her hood down.
"Come on let's have breakfast." She nodded and we walk to the kitchen. She pulled away sitting down by the kitchen counter resting her head on it while I walk by the fridge and took out some eggs.
"Scrambled eggs?" She nodded and I put on the pan and start making breakfast.
"Mam, I'm pathetic." I was taken aback by her words making me look at her to see her head still on the counter making me sigh.
"What happened back there anyway?"
"I woke up cause I heard the doorbell go off so I walk downstairs thinking it was just Lily but when I open the door, I saw a man that I didn't know. I didn't get a chance to speak cause he's already firing me questions about myself that I didn't know how to answer and I was really panicking and that's when I run upstairs into your room." I let out a breath as I put the finished scrambled eggs on the plate and placed it on the table.
"Babe, you're not pathetic. He just caught you off guard." I said softly as I set up the table. She sighed and got off the stool and walk to the table sitting down.
"Now eat up, I'll make you some toast."
------------------------------------------------------
I was woken up by my phone ringong on the bedside table. I was about to move when I felt a weight on my left arm so I looked at the direction and saw Max sleeping peacefully her head resting on my arm making me smile. I slightly turn to take my phone from the bedside table and looked at it.
Katy calling...
A smile form on my face as I pressed answer.
'CHEZZZAAA' She's drunk.
'Hey babe.' I whispered as I carefully lift Max's head as I slowly removed my arm under it.
'I'm soo sorry, I haven't been calling you lately.' She slurred making me bit my lip keeping a giggle. Max mumbled something on her sleep but gladly didn't woke up. I got off the bed and pull the covers up to her shoulders and plantimg a kiss on her forehead.
'Its okay babe, you don't have to call me everyday.' I whispered as I walk to the balcony sliding the glass door behind me as the wind hit my face.
'But I want to.' She whined making me giggle.
'Katy, are you sober?'
'Nope, and I'm gonna regret this in the morning.' She giggled as I hear music blaring in the background.
'Well, you should stop then'
'But I'm having fun.' I can picture her holding a drink as she tries to steady herself with a pout on her face making me smile. 'And I'm still celebrating.'
'celebrating what?' I asked with a frown on my face.
'I have a month to myself and I'm going to London to see the nation's sweetheart slash the most beautiful woman in the world slash my girl crush.' My eyes widen at that and I think I have butterflies fluttering in my stomach.
'A-And who is that?'
'You silly. I'm going there to see you. I really really seriously miss you.' I can feel my face heat up with what she's saying. But I calm myself down cause I know she probably doesn't mean a word cause she's drunk.
' Katy, I think you should go home babe. You're very drunk.' I whispered.
'Okay, if you say so girlfriend.' I sighed and walk by the table and sat down on the chair.
'Let me speak to whoever's going to take you home.' I heard shuffling then I heard Shannon's voice down the line.
'Hello?'
'Shannon, its Cheryl' I can hear Katy giggling on the other line making me smile.
'Oh hi Cheryl, I didn't expect her to call you. Anyway, Is there something you want to tell me?'
'Yea, Can I ask a favor babe.'
'Yea sure what is it?'
'Can you take Katy home babe. I know she'll regret that in the morning.'
'Okay, I think I can manage.' She said with a sigh.
'Shan, enough talking to my girlfriend. Give me my phone and lets go home.' I heard Katy said in the background making me smile widely.
'On second thought, I think this will be easier.' Shannon said making me giggle.
'So we're off. I'll just text you when we got to her house.'
'Okay, Be safe yea.'
'Yea, Bye.'
'Bye.' And with that I hung up. I smiled to myself as I remember Katy and I's conversation. Even though she's drunk, her voice still relaxes me and she called me her girlfriend. God what's happening to me.
