Its been three days and Max was stuck in their house which is a bummer to her but she knows this is her consequence and she just have to follow her Mum.Though she noticed these three days her Mam had changed with the way she's with her. She was a bit more democratic this time and Max hated it. She wants her Mam when she would be mad at her just cause she didn't eat her food last night. But Cheryl didn't seem to mind it at all.
Now, she decided to go downstairs where she finds her Mam sat on the sofa flicking through the channels. She sighed and made her way to her.
"Mam, Can I cuddle with you." Cheryl looks up and smiles placing down her mug on the table and moving a bit.
"Come here, you don't need to ask pet." Max smiles and lays down beside Cheryl placing her head on her lap and Cheryl's fingers automatically run her fingers through Max's locks.
There was a comfortable silence until Max broke it.
"Where's Mum?"
"She's gone to the shops. We're running out of supplies." Max bit her lip, nervous on the question that's been going round and round in circles in her head and its driving her crazy.
"Mam.."
"Hmm."
"Can I ask you something and please tell me the truth?" Cheryl frowns as she looks down to her daughter.
"What is it?"
"A-Are we okay?" Cheryl stares at her daughter as they locked eyes. And the tears is becoming evident in Max's eyes due to her mother's silence.
"What brought this on?" Cheryl whispers. Max turned so she's looking at the telly instead of her mother and swallowed the lump forming in her throat.
"I know its pathetic just don't answer that"
"No, what made you think that were not okay?" Cheryl insisted, right now, she wants to know what was going on in her daughter's head.
"Its just because...You didn't get mad at me when I didn't ate my dinner last night and now, I'm not wearing my sling and you didn't even noticed that." Cheryl smiles at her daughter's cuteness but soon fade as she felt tears dropping on her knees.
"You should be mad at me."
"Babe can you sit up, so we can talk properly." Max sighs as she immediately wipe her tears before getting up and facing her Mam.
"Babe, we're okay" Max shook her head and bits her lip.
"You're a big girl now Max and I can't tell you everything that you have to do., you should already be responsible."
"Yes, I'm a big girl. But what if I don't want to if it means losing your affection. Mam I want you to scold me cause I've done something wrong cause I love that. That's what I'm used to. Its just shows that you care" Cheryl melts at those words as she stares at the teen right in front of her.
She lets out a sigh moved closer to the teen removing the hair sticking on her face and tucking it behind her ear which made the teen look up to her.
Cheryl placed a soft kiss on her forehead and on the tip of her nose making Max smile.
"Babe, It doesn't mean that when I don't scold you, I don't care about you. I care about you, a lot. You're my first priority. I need you to understand that okay?" Max nods at her mother's words.
"I love you" Cheryl smiles before placing a kiss on her daughter's head placing her arms around her.
"I love you too Mam."
"Now, go upstairs and get your sling." Cheryl says firmly as she pulled away causing Max mood lightens up. She released a giggle and nods as she rushed upstairs leaving the Geordie with a dimpled smile playing on her lips.
-----------"I'm home" Max shoot up from the sofa when she heard her Mum's voice making her neck snap. Her hand flew to her neck as she wince at the pain.
Katy walks in carrying the shopping bags in both hands and saw Max with the look on her face making her confuse and a bit worried. She stopped in her tracks and turned to her daughter.
"What happen to you?"
"Mum, I snapped my neck. Anyway did you get my treat?" Katy rolls her eyes as a grin formed on the teens face despite the pain she was feeling in her neck.
"Yea, I got it here." She said loudly as she walks to the quiet kitchen and it somehow made her frown wondering where her fiance is.She placed the bags on the counter and walk back to the front room to see her daughter standing up and walking to her. Max puts her good arm around her Mum's neck hugging her tight. She misses her.
"Is everything alright honey? You okay?" Max pulled away and look up to her Mum shaking her head.
"I just miss you Mum."Katy smiled at the cuteness of her daughter. She misses her when she's like this cause it's been a while since the last and she wanted this to last.
"Why you being so cute and clingy all of the sudden"
"Nothing, I just love you" She says in a cute way making Katy melt. She placed a kiss on her daughter's forehead and hugged her tight.
"I love you too blueberry" Max giggles at the pet name as she pulls away and sighed.
"Where's your Mam babe?"
"Oh she's upstairs, She said she wasn't feeling alright earlier, so she went up to rest." Katy instantly got worried upon hearing what her daughter just had said. Cheryl didn't mention this to her when they were exchanging messages earlier.
"Oh alright, I better check up on her then" Maxene smiled as she nods and with that she watched her Mum ran up the stairs making her shake her head with a smile on her face. She finds it amazing and cute how her Mum treats her Mam.
Katy rushed into their room seeing her fiance curled up in bed with the sheets covering half of her body. The lights were off but the night lamp was giving some light in the room. She sighs as she slowly closed the door behind her.
She tiptoed towards the closet taking out her pajamas as she stripped off her clothes. After she changed clothes, she slowly made her way to the bed and slipped under the covers placing soft kisses on the brunette's shoulders and it somehow woken up Cheryl.
"Hmm" Cheryl turns her head and saw Katy making her smile but faded as she felt her head pounding again. So she just moved closer to her lover cuddling to her as she buries her face against Katy's neck feeling the warmth of her skin. Katy took her in her arms placing kisses on top of her head.
"How are you?" She whispers as her fingers stroke Cheryl's soft locks. She misses her
"My head's pounding" Cheryl whispers as wrapped her arms around Katy's waist pulling her closer.
"Did you take some painkillers?"
"Hmm"
"Then you better get some rest baby" There was a comfortable silence just to be broken by the door opening sending some light into the room revealing Max. Katy smiled as Max walk in and made her way towards her parents.
"Hi sweetheart" Cheryl raised her head upon hearing this squinting at the light and saw her daughter sitting on the edge of the bed and it made her smile as she remembered the earlier events.
"I was kinda bored downstairs." The teen let out a soft giggle as she crawled up to the bed next to her Mam giving her a kiss on the cheek before hugging her from behind and Cheryl immediately felt complete comfort in her girls' arms. And she finds it amazing how they can make her feel like that. Cause no one had before, only her girls. Only her family.
