Sirens (Cheryl fanfic)

Chapter 111

It was already dark when Cheryl and Max arrived at the hospital and immediately Cheryl rushed through the hallways. Max was hurting,its like she doesn't exist. But she tried to understand though she was getting annoyed at her Mam.

Max sat by the bench alone by the hallway. She lost sight of her mam and now she's all alone. She was starving cause she hasn't ate anything since this morning. She just ignore her growling stomach and just wait for someone who she might know that will take her to her Mum.

Cheryl stormed in the room turning heads but her eyes were locked with Katy's pools that were automatically filled with tears.

"Cheryl..Baby.."She lets out a smile as the tears fall. Ignoring all the stares and looks, she ran to Katy taking her in her arms which surprised Katy..

Cheryl's tears instantly fell as she hold on to Katy tighter. She missed her and she was relief that nothing happened to her. Katy gestured her family and friends to leave them alone which they followed thinking they need some time alone. Time to talk.

As soon as Cheryl heard the door closed. She pulled away and stood back. She was mad. Mad at Katy for even thinking to take her own life.

"Chez..."

"How many times will you have to hurt us."
"Chery-"

"What were you f*cking thinking!" Cheryl said loudly making Katy stop and look away as her eyes got blurred by tears.

"I miss you..and I kinda hate myself.." Katy whispered. Cheryl wiped her tears with force.

"You scared the sh*t out of us!"

"I'm sorry!" And with that, Katy burst into tears crying her heart out again. Cheryl watched her and she figured that Katy's state was much worst than hers. And it really breaks her heart to see her like this.

"I'm so sorry.." She whispers to the sheets. She was tired. She's tired physically and emotionally. She just wants this to be over.

"Cheryl i-if you would just tell us that I'm stupid for doing it then there's no use in starting this conversation..If your just gonna dump me then might as well say it already.." Cheryl can't believe what was coming out of Katy's mouth.

"So you're giving up on us...You said you won't give up." Cheryl said sadly

"I meant what I said."

"Then why are you being like this!"

"Cause I can't move on!" Katy yelled creating silence between them. Cheryl was taken aback by Katy's tone and slowly her heart was opening up again.

"How can I move on when your fingertips are still on my heart, When I can still hear your voice ring in my ears. When your smile lives in my eyes and everytime my mind wanders around it always goes to you. I still love you..I love you very much."

Silence.

Cheryl was speechless and finally heart heart gave up. Her anger towards Katy faded as she saw that Katy was truly sorry and that she meant every word she said.

"I love you too." She whispers but Katy heard her clearly making her shot up and look at Cheryl with hopeful eyes.

"Its true.Yes, It hurts..A lot but, I still love you, and I never stopped" Cheryl walked slowly towards Katy and sat on the bed as Katy stared at her.

"I'm sorry too. For not letting you explain..Fo-"

"Cheryl please don't blame yourself..This is all my fault and I'm really sorry baby..I'm sorry. " Cheryl moved closer to Katy as she wiped her tears and take her in her arms. Katy relaxed in Cheryl's arms and at the same time she closed her eyes feeling Cheryl's arms wrapped around her.

"I'm sorry.."

"Its okay now, I forgive you..Just don't do it again. Your lips are only mine." Cheryl tries to lighten up the mood and it seems to work as she heard a soft giggle from Katy. Cheryl pulled away making her and Katy locked eyes. Katy's eyes traveled to Cheryl's lips and Cheryl caught it making her smile.

"C-can I kiss you?" Cheryl nodded making Katy sigh and let out a proper smile as she slowly leans in and capture her lover's lips that she missed so much.

Cheryl puts everything on that kiss. She missed her Katy and even though after what happened, Katy was glad that Cheryl took her back into her heart again.

When finally air became an issue, They both pull away but kept her foreheads resting against each others. They both know that everything won't immediately go back to the way it was but they both know that someday, they will get there. Only time can tell.

"I love you.."

"I love you too" Katy's head moved to Cheryl's shoulder as the brunette holds her against her.

"Wait if you are here.." Katy pulled away looking at Cheryl. " Where's Maxene?"

"Max is.." Cheryl's eyes widen as she just realize that Max wasn't with her when she got to Katy's room. Her heart starts beating fast and her mother instincts came to life.

"She was just behind us earlier.." Katy frowned at Cheryl. She didn't saw a Maxene earlier.

"Sh*t. I need to find her." Cheryl planted one last kiss on Katy's lips before getting out of bed and storming out of the room eager to find her daughter.

She went back to the where she passed by earlier and relief washes over her as she sees her daughter on a bench staring at nothing her arms folded against her stomach.. She slowly walked towards her and crouch down to her level making Max look up.

"Ba-"

"So how is she?" Max asked bluntly, as she looks away. And only this time Cheryl notices the changes in her daughter. Max go thinner, she already has bags under her eyes and looks pale than before making Cheryl worry.

"She's fine and..We're back together.Babe are you okay?" Cheryl placed her hand on her cheek but Max  pulled back a bit making Cheryl's hand drop.

"M'fine..You should go back to Mum..She needs you." Max stood up and walk pass her mam leaving Cheryl dumbfounded.

As Max walk away, She let the tears fall. Now that her parents are back together, That doesn't mean that it will all go back to normal where the three of them are happy. She's disappointed in her parents. Katy, for what she had done to her Mam and Cheryl for ignoring her and always rejecting her.

She also suffered these past few days but no one seems to see and appreciate the effort that she's doing. Now, she just feels like the wind, so light and invisible.
