Chapter 61

Max's P.O.V.

"Max, can you get us the last box, over there." I rolled my eyes and stood up.

"Babe, Its okay I'll get it." Lily said walking towards the box.

"Thanks." Mam has been signing albums for like ever here in the studio and I'm getting irritated. I want to go home already and be in my jammies just snuggle up on the sofa watching whatever's on the telly with a hot cuppa in my hand. I walked to mam and immediately stop her on what she's doing.

"Maxene, I don't have time for this. Can you please get off of us so I could finish signing the albums." I shook my head and burried my face on the crook of her neck as she let out a frustrated sigh.

"Can you just have a time off and hold me..you've been keeping yourself busy on these albums and I'm already getting jealous..I know that sounds silly but I am."

"Babe just one more box and I'm fini-"

"And now, you don't even want to hug me." I whisper and was about to got off her lap when she pulled me back again putting her arms around me. I instantly relax in her arms resting my head on her shoulder.

"Better?" I sighed and nod. We stayed like that until I realize what mam is doing so I look up to her and turn to see she's actually signing the albums. I'm about to tell her off when I realize that I'll just let her so she can finish them, atleast I'm closer to her.

I didn't even realized I slept on mam's shoulder until I felt someone shaking me bringing me out of my sleep. Looking up, I saw mam with raised brows smiling at me. I suddenly felt embarrassed and I don't know why.

"S-sorry.." I immediately got off of her lap earning a frown from her but I ignore it and turn to the clock. My eyes widen a bit as I saw the time. I dozed off for an hour and a half.

"Uhm.." I was still lost as I glanced at mam who was staring at nothing with a blank expression on her face. How the f*ck did I fell asleep. I look around yo see the albums already packed in except for one that's on top of the table in front of mam which made me frown so I walk closer towards mam and picked up the album and what I saw made me smile.

Dear Max,
Here's a little something, I created. And I want you to listen to them. Hope it'll inspire you. I love you baby girl to the moon and back.

I glance at mam and she's still in the same state before. So I sat on her lap making her head turn to us and I gave her a smile holding up the album making her look at it then at me.

"Thanks for this.." I smiled. "And thanks for being the best mother in the whole world. I love you to the moon and back." I put my arms around her burrying my face on the crook of her neck and I relaxed as soon as I felt her arms wrapped around me. In moments like this, I intend to get emotional but I hide it everytime. I felt mam held me tighter making a smile form on my face.

"Mam.."

"Hmm.."

"Can we go home now please?"

"Alright, now get up and go to the car. I'll just say some words to Lily yea." I sighed and nod and was about to get up only to be pulled back again.

"Goodbye kiss?" I look at her in disbelief as she pout her lips earning a giggle from me.

"Mam, I'm only going to the car."

"Nah. Give us a kiss." I sighed and look at her. I bit my lip to stop myself from letting out a giggle cause she looks a bit funny with her eyes close and pouted lips. I sighed in defeat and gave her a peck which made her loosen her arms around me. Taking my chance, I got off her lap.
