Its like in a blink of an eye, Katy's already in Max's hospital room. Everything fades as her eyes landed on her daughter laid lifeless on the hospital bed with her eyes half shut.. It was the worst state she ever saw Max in..
"H-hey"Katy whispered as she walked beside the bed opposite where Cheryl is just staring at her daughter..A weak smile form on Max's face as she saw her mum..
"Y-you came.." Katy's tears starts pouring down as she held her hand planting a kiss on it. Max held her mum's face as she wipe her tears.
"Thought you were the strong one.." Max let out a smile but Katy shook her head.
"I was never strong..."
"Y-Yes you are...You two.." Katy glanced at Cheryl to see that she's just staring at her daughter, she's not even blinking..And that's where Katy was starting to figure out that Cheryl might slip into depression. So she walk around the bed and walk closer to Cheryl gently placing her hnd on her back.
"Babe, you okay?" Cheyl isn't responding so she let her be. She was about to walk away when the door slammed open revealing a distraught Daniel.
"Maxene!" He sighs as he took in Max's state. Katy was shocked even Cheryl had come into senses. They thought he still cares for his daughter inspite with the no show ups. And this made Cheryl boil. Katy was mad too but she knows that even Max is also disappointed at him for the last incident, he's still her father and he has the right to vist her on her last day..
"Oh look who decided to show up this time.." Cheryl speak in so much sarcasm.
"Cheryl.."Katy warned as she gently took her hand..Her daughted doesn't need an argument in front of her right now.
"Did you ask permission to your wife? Maybe she'll rip my head off if ahe know's your f*cking here." Katy had enough and grab Cheryl's arm and pulled her out of the room.
"Katy what the f*ck"
"Cheryl, what is your problem?"
"My problem is in all days, this is the only time Daniel shows up." Katy sighed and held Cheryl's hand. Katy thought nothing will be solve if they are both upset so she tries her best to be calm..
"He has the right too, you know?"
"Oh so now your taking his side..You're my girlfriend, you should be on my si-"
"I'm not on anyone's side..okay." Katy sighs. " Come here." She opened her arms for her to fall in and Cheryl moved closer falling into her lover's arms.
"Just let them talk babe yea.." She felt Cheryl nod.
Katy knows Cheryl's not in the right state at this moment. She herself is not also in the right state but they're doing everything for their daughter.

Visiting hours are over but Max asked for Cheryl and Katy to stay.. She wants them to be with her all through the night so then she feels safe.
"You wanted to talk?" Katy whispered as she took a sit beside Cheryl who's just looking at her daughter. She doesn't want to waste time. In her case right now, time is very important
"I-I just want you to know..that I love you both so much..." Katy swallowed the lump on her as she looked away from Maxene. She's saying goodbye and Katy can't look at her cause she will breakdown and there's no need for that right now.
"Thank you cause...this has been the best birthday ever..."
"You're not serious are you..." Cheryl whispered as she sat up straight tears running down her face.
"You just had an attack...And here you are with God knows how long will stay...And now you're telling us that this is the best f*cking birthday ever" Cheryl was now in hysterics so Katy pulled her in her arms.
"No mam...Its the best day ever...Cause I get to know who really loves me.. And I get to spend my last day with the both of you." Tears leaked at the corner of Max's eyes as a smile grew on her face..
"I...I thought I'm going to die alone..without a mark on this world...But you two changed that..you made me feel special.." Cheryl's sobs died down as she pulled away from Katy and look at her daughter.
"Mammy...Thank you for the 187 days that we've been together.."
"Is this it?" Katy whispered." Are you saying goodbye?" Max replied with a small smile and that's when Cheryl broke down and Katy frozen as tears fall down.
"It'll be alright..." Max's voice cracked. Her heart is breaking as she watch her paremts broke down in front of her.

"Guys, you can rest if you want to." Max whispered but the two just shook their heads. Its already one in the morning. Cheryl and Katy haven't closed their eyes and take a rest even yhough their eyes are already giving up. They don't want to waste any time.
Even though Max is already having a hard time breathing, she started to sing for her parents.

"I love you.." Cheryl whispered and Katy nod in agreement.
"I love you too."

Max breath starts to hitch and it was the signal that its time to go.
"Mam, mum...I'll take my rest no-"
"No baby..No not yet please...Don't leave us." Cheryl and Katy instantly shot up as their tears flow down fast.
"Katy please get the doctor." Cheryl said frantically. Katy nodded and ran out of the room leaving two.
Cheryl is in panick.. She doesn't want her daughter to die. She was going crazy.
"Maxene please.."
"I'm sorry Mam." Max gasped and Cheryl didn't know what to do so she pulled Max into her arms holding her tight and close as possible.
"Baby, please don't go.."
"Take care always...I love you very much.."
Her eyes closed
The flatline shows up
Her hand and head falls to the side.
"Cheryl..." A whisper echoes in the room. Everything crashes down. Cheryl felt empty as she holds her lifeless daughter in her arms.
"She's gone."
