Chapter 65

Katy's P.O.V.

I went home for a while to get some clothes cause I know Cheryl needed some time alone with Max. I was met by a squirming Wacky making a lump form in my throat. I bent down to pick him up, he's growing bigger everyday. I sat on the sofa placing him on my lap

"Hey there buddy." He snuggles further towards me. It amazes me how could a dog be easily attach to his owner. I think that's because Wacky's behaving like this. He misses Max and he knows something is wrong with her.

"Sorry buddy..but Max isn't coming home for a while.." Tears started to fall as I hugged him wishing that everytging would go back into normal soon. I took my phone out of my pocket and called Mom. I need her help.

'Hello? Katheryn.'

'M-Mom.' I sniffed.

'How is she? How's Maxene?' Her voice was a whisper. She had been easily attached to Max already that's why I can understand what she's feeling right now.

'S-She's in a coma' I hear her gasp making more tears fall.

'Oh my God..'

'Mom, I-I need your help..I want the whole family on full force...'

'What is it sweetheart..Anything..'

'M-Max needs a heart donor.. As soon as possible.. Its her only chance to live mom..Please..'

'Okay, okay..We'll do our best..Your dad and I will go there to London if we found one..I promise.'

'Thank you mom...It really means a lot.'

'Now, wipe those tears..Maxene needs you..By the way where are you and where's Cheryl?'

'I'm here at the house..I left Cheryl there with Max so she could talk to her...She's losing it mom..I'm afraid she's going to slip in depression and I don't want that..'

'Its a mother's thing Katheryn. She really loves her.. You're the one who needs to be strong. Someone to keep them together..'

'But for how long mom..I'm really having a hard time already..'

'Just remember to have faith and be on the positive side..Never think otherwise..' I took in everyword my mother said. It motivates me in some way..She always knew the right words.

'Thanks mom..'

'Now, go to them..Go back to the hospital Cheryl and Max needs you there.'

'I will..Bye mom.'

'Bye sweetheart.' And with that I hung up dropping my phone on the sofa looking down at Wacky who was looking at me as I wipe my tears.

"Come on, I'll feed you." I sighed standing up carrying him in my arms as we went to the kitchen..I need to settle things here before I go back there.

Cheryl's P.O.V.

I was still staring at Max..Its already midnight and I haven't got any sleep..I'm tired but I don't want to sleep or even close my eyes for a while..cause I want to be awake when my daughter wakes up..I don't want to miss it.

I was pulled out of my stare when I felt an arm wrapped around my shoulder and a kiss planted on the top of my head making me look up to see Katy. She had a shower, Had she gone home..

"Where have you been?" I whispered as she walks over to Max giving her a kiss on the forehead. She sighed and placed the big bag under the bed then look at me sitting herself on the other side of the bed.

"I'd gone home to get some clothes and also feed Wacky..They're crowding outside.." I let out a breath and just continue my stare on my daughter but I can't help to be annoyed. Even my daughter can't get a rest from the paps..They always wanted to know what's happening to her..
