Chapter 26

Cheryl's P.O.V.

Katy and I are cuddled up on the sofa in a cold rainy morning. Katy's been staying here since Max had been discharge a week ago. And since then, I can see few paps watching our house. But I don't mind them. Katy and I talked about this already like what will happen if we got leaked and the whole world will know about us and she said she doesn't care. She said all that matters us we have each other and we love each other and I feel exactly the same.

My mam already knows that Katy and I are together abd she accepted us completely. She knows these feeling I'm having towards Katy even before we got together.

Suddenly I felt something soft against my skin making me look down and saw Katy looking at me.

"You okay, you suddenly become quiet." She said softly making me smile and nod. She smiled and tightened her arms around my waist as I planted kisses on her temple and her forehead making her giggle.

"What time is it?" I mumbled as I look up at the wall clock and saw that its already half past nine. I should wake up Max now before she can skip breakfast.

"Baby, we need to wake up Max. She needs to eat." I whispered and she got off of us and stood up immediately grabbing my hand and pulling me upstairs making me giggle.

At first, I thought it'll be hard for Katy to adjust cause I have a daughter but I was completely wrong. She loves her. Too much that she's spoiling her but I find it cute.

We knocked on Max's door before going in to see her still asleep her hair covering her face.

"Sweetie, wake up. You need to eat breakfast." Katy said softly as she knelt down the floor facing Max as I remove the hair out of her face. She moaned in her sleep and moved but didn't wake up making me sigh.

"Pet, come on wake up. You should not skip meals. So get up now." She finally opens her eyes and blinked at us.

"Mam, what time is it?" She mumbled as she sat up rubbing her eyes.

"It's almost ten so get up! get up! You need some food in you." I said standing up and facing them both.

"Come on Max. Up you get." Katy giggled as she got off the floor and held her hand out to Max which she took it getting off the bed. Katy put her arm around her shoulders and planted kisses on her head making me smile. I think I could get use to this.

Max's P.O.V

It's still raining and its already four in the afternoon. Katy and I decided to bake some cookies while mam went out for a meeting with Simon Cowell.

"Sweetheart, can you put the chocolate chip in." I grab the pack of chocolate chip and pour it all in the batter making Katy gasped.

"That's too much."

"But I love chocolate." I giggled making her giggle too.

"Okay," she nodded. "Your mom will kill me for this. I'm spoiling you too much."

"And I love you for that." I smiled and she gave me her sweetest smile.

"You're like my daughter." My eyes lit up. Now, I have two mothers.

"Can I call you mum or mom?" I asked shyly and felt my face heat up so I put my hood on hiding my face. I hear her let out a sigh and lift my head up making me look at her.

"You can call me whatever you want." She smiled making me smile widely and hugged her burrying my face on the crook of her neck.

"Thanks mum." I whispered and hugged her tight. We sprang apart when we heard the doorbell making us both giggle.

"I'll get it." I yelled as I skip out of the kitchen. Maybe mam's home already. I opened the front door to see someone I haven't seen in like weeks.

"Maxene." Emily launch herself at me crying hugging me tight taking me by surprise.

"Why didn't you tell me you left school." She sobbed on my shoulder bringing me back into my senses. I put my arm around her waist and reach behind her to close the door as I started to tear up also. I just realize that I miss her. I rubbed her back as I gently pushed her towards the sofa and saw mum came into view with a frown on her face and I just gave her a thumbs up as we sat down on the sofa. She nodded and went back yo the kitchen.

"Sshh. Its okay, I'm here." I whispered as I sooth her calming her down. I didn't know that this can affect her so much. She's really my friend.

"Have you calmed down?" I whispered and felt her nodd so I pulled away to look at her properly. I wipe her tears and smiled at her.

"I miss you in school" She whispered making me smile.

"I miss you too." I whispered.

"Why did you left anyway?"

"Whole story?" I asked and she nodded so I told her the whole story. When the girls bullied me while she's on her family trip. When mam observed the class and how she told the girls off.

"Really? She did that?"

"Mhmm" I nodded.

"Wow, so you're not going back?" I slowly shook my head making her face drop.

"But you can visit me here." I whispered and a smile form on her face and jump on me hugging me making us fall to the floor.

"Maxene." I hear mum's footsteps making me sigh. Emily immediately got off of me and stood up abd alsi help me stand up. Mum walked beside me checking me.

"Oh. My. God. Am I hallucinating, cause there's no f*cking way that Katy Perry is here." She said just staring at me then mum. Mum giggled and held her hand out.

"Katy." Emily just looked at Mum then her hand and slowly shook mum's hand.

"You must be Emily, Maxene's friend." I giggled at the look on Emily's face as she stuttered.

"Emily, you want cookies?" I asked her making her look at me.

"Are the cookies ready?" I asked mum and she nodded.

"I'll get you two some. Give me a minute." And with that mum left and Emily turned to me with her mouth open making me giggle.

"I'll fill you in later." I smiled as I took her hand and we sat by the sofa as I started with my speech.
