Chapter 27

Cheryl's P.O.V.

I finally arrive home after spending the whole afternoon in a boring meeting. Auditions start next week and I find it a good idea cause it'll take my mind off about Katy going back in LA next month.

I opened the door and instantly heard talking as I took my coat off and putting my umbrella on the rack and made my way to the front room.

"Ba-" I stopped when I saw Maxene tickling a girl and looks like she's the same age as her. I frowned and let out a little cough making them stop and look at us.

"Mam!" Max cheered as she run to me hugging us making me confuse. I thought she didn't want anyone else to know that she 's my daughter. She pulled away and smiled at me.

"Mam, I'd like you to meet my best friend in school..Emily." She smiled at the girl.

"Hi Ms. Cole." She whispered. Maybe she is truly her bestfriend. Cause Max don't trust anyone that easily.

"Hi Emily." I smiled as I made my way to her and give her a quick hug. I pulled away and smiled at her.

"Nice to meet you, pet." She smiled widely and Max hugged her making me smile.

"Maxene, where's Katy?"

"Oh she said she'll just take a nap cause her head hurts." She said making me worried so I walk upstairs and into my room and saw Katy on bed sleeping. I sighed and took off my shoes and change into my pajamas.

I climb into bed and slip under the covers beside her. I removed the hair on her face and stared at her. She's so beautiful and I'm very lucky to have her.

I move closer and leaned slowly planting a soft kiss on her lips and I felt her smile and put her arm around me and burried her face on the crook of my neck. I smiled and kissed her on the cheek.

"Baby..." I whispered.

"Mhm..." She moaned making me smile.

"Is the girl downstairs really Max's bestfriend?" I whispered as I stroke her hair.

"Yea, why?"

"Nothing I just want to make sure." I whispered and her arms around me tighten.

"How 's your head." I whispered as I planted a kiss on her forehead.

"Its a bit okay."

"Did you took some painkillers." She shook her head slowly making me sigh.

"I'll take some painkillers." I said as I got off the bed only to be pulled back again.

"Katy, I'm just going to take your meds." I giggled but she completely ignored me and wrapped her arms around me.

"Babe..." I whispered and she rolled and now she's completely on top of me.

"Can you just stay here." She look up to me with her blue eyes. I rest my arm around her waist and smiled at her. She sighed and rest her head on my chest.

"How did the meeting went?" She whispered making me sigh loudly.

"The usual. I've been fighting the urge to walk out of the room and just go home and by the way auditions starts next week, Are you coming with me?" She look up to me and raised her brows.

"Who will look after Max?" She asked making me smile. She smiled and leans forward and capture my lips giving me a soft kiss.

"Baby, I have a confession to make." She whispered in between kisses. I looked at her and she looks guilty making me worry a bit.

"What?"

"I kinda let Max eat cookies with lots of chocolate."

"Katy, you're spoiling her. You know she can't eat too mu-" I was cut off by her lips on mine diving her tongue right away making me let out a soft moan on her lips.

"Katy.." I mumbled making her stop and look at me.

"You should not spoil he-" She cut me off again as she pecked my lips.

"Katy" I whined making her giggle.

"I'm sorry. You're just too cute and I miss you." She giggles making me smile widely as we locked eyes.

"I love you." She whispered and kissed me again biting my lower lip.

"I love you too" Finally, I can say I'm truly happy with my little family.

We got downstairs after our make out session upstairs and saw Max laid on the sofa with the duvet covering her body as she watch The Fault In Our Stars.

"Budge up." Katy said making Max move her leg giving Katy some space to sit.

"Lift your head baby." I whispered she does what I say still her focus on the TV. I sat down and she rest her head on my lap.

"Where's your friend?" I asked as I stroked her hair.

"She left earlier cause her parents called and she needs to get home." She said making me nod. I felt sleepy and tired so I lay my head back and closed my eyes. I felt Katy's hand on mine lacing our fingers together making me smile and finally drift to sleep.
