Chapter 71 [Finished chapter]

"Everyone, Katy Perry." I put a smile on my face as I made my way towards Ellen giving her a kiss on the cheek. I winked at the audience before sitting down on my seat.

"Wow, you look beautiful."

"Thank you darling." I said in my attempt to do a british accent which came out pretty good.

"Oh is that a british accent? That was good actually." She said and it made a few cheers making me giggle.

"Well, I'm living with two brits. What do you expect" I joked scrunching my nose and putting on a cheeky grin. God, I miss my girls.

"So its been a month since you last been on the show so how are you?" I don't want to spoil the mood in the studio but at the same time, I also don't want to lie. Maybe if I joked about it, it won't ryin anything.

"I'm great yea.." I said cheerfully while shaking my head making Ellen smile with confusion.

"Is that a yes or a no."

"I'm very fine.." I shook my head again making her raised her brows.

"I read in the papers that you're on UK most of the time. Why is that."

"Yea..I wasn't suppose to be there last week cause the album is almost finish and I need to promote and all that stuff..But the story was...Maxene, my daughter, well Cheryl's daughter, had a heart attack.." This created gasps from the audience and I saw Ellen's eyes widen and I try to compose myself so I wouldn't break.

"Yes..The night I got there she's already in a coma until now to be honest and Cheryl wasn't in a good way and she needed me there so I kinda took the week off..But the good thing is..She has a new heart..And I really want to thank this person who has a lovely kind heart that presented to be Max's donor.."

"Who is it?"

"He's from America and he's name is Scott Williams..He donated his sister, Anne Williams's heart because his sister got into a car accident..And the most touching part was when he said to us her sister's last words...That to give her heart to Cheryl's daughter.." The audience applauded to this making me stop and smile as Ellen put a hand on my knee for some kind of comfort.

"Yes so thank you very much.."

"So with all that, Lets talk about the album..It will be released later on midnight..But you already gave me a copy and I listened to it backstage and I love every song in this album. What is difference between this and Teenage Dream"

"Well Teenage Dream is highly conceptualize actually. It shows an exagerated version of me. I guess Prism shows a different side of me. It has vulnerability with the lyrics.."

"Cause you said that you just got out of the divorce when you wrote some of the songs here.."

"Yes, and that really kept me in between choices to whether to go on the dark side or the positive side and I chose the positive side and writing helped me a lot..So now, I've moved on and I'm happily in love with a geordie right at the moment." I smile getting cheers from the crowd and a cherky grin from Ellen making me raised my brows.

"So..So how's Cheryl?"

"Cheryl..Oh, she's great. We have a situation right now but other than we're great."

"You had a two actually have a duet."

"Yes, its called Unbreakable.Actually we sang this at the X factor for her album Only Human so if you want to listen to it just check out Cheryl's album."

"Tell us a bit about the track."

"Its actually Cheryl's composition..Yea she wrote all of it..She just asked me to help her with the melody but at that time I wasn't in the mood so I just made her wait while I did the melody here.. Jay actually had the idea if us making a duet for it and she agreed with it..Its basically about a girl who's lost and trying to make her stronger."
