Chapter 24

Cheryl's P.O.V.

Katy's being sweet to me all day making it hard to make the feelings go away. She always smiles at me and when she's standing next to me, she'll either drape her arm around my waist or around my shoulder and it sends chills down my spine.

"Hey, She's asleep." I turn and saw Katy smiling at me making the butterflies flutter around in my stomach.

"Cheryl, can we talk." She held her hand out for me to take, I looked at it for a second and took it. She led me to the sofa and we both sat face to face.

"I'm gonna tell you something." I raised my brows and nodded.

"The reason real reason why I went here." Her voice cracked making me worried. She looks nervous and her hands are shaking so I took it making her look at me and swallowed.

"Babe, what is it." I whispered and the next thing I knew was her lips pressed softly against mine making my eyes widen. I feel emotions exploded inside me.

I slowly closed my eyes and respond to the kiss. I brought my hand on her neck as I deepened the kiss putting all I wanted to say to her. When air became an issue, She pulled away and rest her forehead against mine.

"Why'd you kiss us?" I whispered looking straight into her eyes.

"Why'd you kiss me back." She whispered back making me giggle.

"No, seriously." I pulled away completely so I can talk to her properly. She sighed and started playing with her hands.

"I love you Cheryl." She slowly looked at me in the eye as my heart starts racing.

"I'm sorry if I feel this way but I can't help it. God knows how many times I fight the urge to call you back in LA. Its okay if you don't feel the same." She looks close to tears making me heart break so I cut her off with a kiss. I don't know where the courage is coming from but its still worth it. She pulled away and look ed at me tears in her eyes.

"You have no idea how you're making me feel right now." I whispered and give her a small peck again and pulled away completely.

"So what's my answer then?" She giggled making look at her confuse.

"Did you asked a question?"

"Oh right sorry." She composed herself making me smile and took hold of my hand.

"Cheryl, will you be my girlfriend." Its a bit odd for a woman to ask me that but I'm liking it.

"Yea" I whispered looking into her eyes. Her eyes lit up and sparkles. She jumped on me making me fall back down on the sofa and attack me with kisses making me giggle.

"Guys, can you keep it down please." Max voice echoed in the room making us both giggle.

"Wait, can you get off of us. You bonkers. " I giggled and she sat straight and also help me up.

"So were together now?" She whispered.

"Don't you like it?"

"Like it, Hell I love it." She grinned and planted a kiss on my cheeks.

"But wait, I have to tell you something and I'll ask you if you still want to be with me after this." Her brows furrowed as she turned ro me completely intrigued.

"What is that?" I swallowed and let out a sigh.

"Its about Max."

"What about her?"she whispered as she took both of my arms.

"Max...She's not my niece." She frowned as she took a glance at a sleeping Max.

"I don't understand." She whispered shaking her head.

"I only said that cause she won't let me say to anyone." She nodded for me to continue. I took a deep breath and swallowed the lump forming in my throat.

"She's my daughter."
