Sirens (Cheryl fanfic)

Chapter 108

Total darkness and emptiness. That's what Katy's state. Still curled up on the floor she stares at nothing as tears continue to fall. Her life was gone. She just walked out of her life and its all her fault.

She doesn't know what will she do. Or if she can even continue with the tour. Cause all she can think is Cheryl and what will happen to them.

All the memories came flashing right infront of her making the pain she's feeling even worse. She promised to herself that she won't hurt Cheryl. That she won't do what he did. But then what happened? She blew it.

Her thoughts went to her daughter. She knows Cheryl must've told her already and can't imagine how disappointed and angry Max is. All the moments they've been together only be vanished by a stupid drunken kiss.

"Go to sleep" Cheryl said as she tucked Max in.

"But, I'm not tired. I want to stay up with you"

"We have an early flight tomorrow so you need to sleep."

"Bu-"

"Max please. Listen to us this time." Cheryl snapped but Max was having non of it. She sat up and before Cherylcould say anything, Max wrapped her arms around her mother's neck inhaling her scent.

"You're hurt.." She whispers making Cheryl swallow the lump forming in her throat.

"I'm here.." Cheryl wrapped her arms around her daughter tightly. It gives her some comfort but the truth is, she's completely empty inside. She had no tears to shed cause she's all out of them. She's all drained out with nothing to give anymore.

"I'm fine, now go to sleep." Cheryl whispered as she was about to pull away but her daughter held onto her tighter.

"You and I both know that's a lie.. "Cheryl doesn't like her daughter seeing her cry and right now she's close to tears again surprised that she has tears left.

"Maxene please.."

"M-Mam please don't push me away." Max's voice cracked which silenced Cheryl. She forgot that no matter what, her daughter is still affected by the situation. Of course cause she treats Katy as her Mum.They had a close bond so i.eon't be a surprise if it will affect Max alot.

"I-I'm sorry baby...I just don't know what to do anymore." Thay's whem the tears fell and Max can feel them dropping on her shoulders making her tear up. Its only this time that everything sinks in. Her family had completely fell apart breaking into a million pieces and she doesn't know if they could cope.

The morning came and Katy was woken up by the buzzing on her front door. Her head was banging and her eyes were stinging. Then the events last night hit her making a lump form on her throat as she fights the urge to cry.

The buzzing didn't stopped so she sighed and got off the floor and stood up immediately making her wobble at the lost of balance and her head was even worse. She walk towards the door and opened it revealing a beaming Mary and Keith but soon faded when they saw their daughter's state.

Tear tracks down her cheeks, messy hair, red puffy eyes..A frown formed in their faces as they stared at their daughter.

"Mom, Dad.."

"What happened?" Mary whispered as they walked in the house and as soon as the door is closed, Katy broke down again in her mother's arms. Making the couple worried.

"Sweetie what happened? Where's Cheryl?" This made Katy confuse, how did they knew that Cheryl was here in California. Before she could question, They all sat on the sofa Mary holding Katy while Keith sat across them.

"H-how did you know..S-she's here." Katy pulled away and look at her parents which she caught exchanging strange looks.

"She went over yesterday noon. So tell us what happened?"

"She's gone...She's gone and its all my fault." Mary and Keith exchanged looks again as Katy cried burrying her face in thr palm of her hand.

"What did you do?" Mary sighed. She felt bad for Cheryl and also her daughter.

"John kissed me and I kinda kissed him back...She saw it...I don't know why I did that.."

"Katheryn.." Keith sighed as he pinched the crook of his nose. She was in full disappointment at his daughter.

"She left me mom.." Keith and Mary exchanged looks again making Katy irritated and had enough.

"Can you tell me already what you two are hiding."

"What?"

"You two are exchanging looks. What are you hiding." Keith sighed and nodded at Mary making her look at Katy with sad eyes

"What is it?"

"We know why Cheryl is here.." Katy was on full ears and there's a feeling that she might not expect what's coming to her.

"She was going to proppse to you sweetheart." Katy's world fell down completely. Her blood dropped and her heart was smashed into pieces. She was walking in darkness.

"I'm so sorry sweetheart." Mary whispered as she pulled a frozen Katy in her arms. Katy had lose hope. She totally dropped down.

"Ka-"

"Can you guys leave me alone please..." She whispered. But Mary shook her head tears daring to come out. She knows what her daughter can do..

"Mom, Dad please.." Keith stood up and placed a soft kiss on her daughter's head while Mary pulled away looking in Katy's eyes.

"Just go please.." Keith took Mary's hand and sent her to the car while he gives Katy some words.

"Katheryn. We'll leave you, if you promise not to do anything stupid." Katy just nodded as she stares at nothing. Keith sighed and plants one last kiss on her daughter's head.

"See you tomorrow." He whispered but didn't get a respond from Katy. He sighed and turn to leave.

Katy didn't move even when Keith walked out of the house. She was just staring at nothing. She felt nothing, She was like a mannequin already. She loses hope in everything else and doesn't know if she still can go on.
