Chapter 72

Cheryl's P.O.V.

Its already half past four in the afternoon when I arrived at the hospital. I went home for a while to get my small player cause I had an idea that it may help for Max to wake up if I use music. Kimberley went home already after looking out for Max.

Now, I'm plugging in the player and plug my phone to it. Max actually, has a playlist in my phone..Cause she usually use this if she wants to listen some tunes. I'm a bit surprise when I open the playlist cause I haven't check this out before..The playlist composes my songs and Katy's. It gave me some sense of affection and I'm really touched by this so I played the first song which is Katy's song that's on top of the list. Thinking of you..

Katy's P.O.V.

I rush through the crowd and the media ignoring all the calls and yells from them and climb straight into the black car Cheryl sent me.

"Greg, can we go straight to the hospital please and make it fast thanks."

"Alright, hospital it is." And with that he started driving. I feeling uneasy even on the plane. I have a feeling that something is going to happen and I know it involves Max. I haven't called Cheryl yet and I promised to her I will as soon as my plane landed but I'm really not in the right state to make a phone call right now.

Few minutes later we finally arrive at the hospital and I literally ran out of the car and through those double doors running  through the hallways. My heart is already thumping out of my chest and My breath starts to get heavy but I didn't stop. As I got closer and closer to Max's room, I xan hear music playing inside making me storm inside.

"Oh my God! Katy.." Cheryl gasped as her hand flew to her chest. I must've scared her. I walk to her and pull her immediately in my arms. Taking in her sweet scent as I hug her tighter.

"I missed you so much." I whispered as I pull away to see her smile. She gave me a peck before walking past me. I slowly made my way closer to Max and place a tender kiss on her forehead.

"Hi baby...I came back here as soon as I can.." I sat by the stool and started to stroke my daughter's brown locks.

"Sorry mummy wasn't here last night..I went to America because my management doesn't give a sh*t about our situation right now. But I'm already he-" I was cut off when our song filled the air making me turn to Cheryl who has a small smile on her face as she placed her phone down and walk towards me and sat on my lap.

"Why are we playing music again?" I said planting kisses on her shoulder.

"It help her to wake up." She simply said making me smile. Maybe it will.

Author's P.O.V.

Katy and Cheryl's song blares through the air as the atmosphere has gone into peace. The two of them not saying a word just listening to the music.

Max didn't get to hear this song because of what happened and the song is completely about her. And Cheryl really made the lyrics in full emotion that's why everytime she hears or sing this, she always get's emotional

Cheryl's tears starts to fall as the song gets into her. She sniff and wipe her tears making Katy alarm and look up to Cheryl to see tears in her eyes. Katy knows how much Cheryl is hurting right now and she understands that. She puts her arms around her as a lump form on her throat just looking at their unconscious daughter.
