He had tried it all, every magical ingredient with some hallucinatory properties under the three suns. Still, he craved more, and slowly it became an ever present obsession. Never to have been one for visiting libraries, he know spent hours on end in them, searching for that one hallucinogenic to put all others to shame. The rest of his time he spent combing through forests and lurking in taverns in desperate attempts to pick up rumors.
What he had never expected was that the answer, the solution, would eventually just fall into his lap. Out on his doorstep one day lay a little bag with a note attached that just said "Enjoy".
And until the moment the drug slowed his heartbeat to a stop, he did.
A/N: Maybe one day I'll write a proper short story of this idea, as I feel it's better suited to a longer format. But for now, I hope you enjoyed the micro version!
