In a world filled to the brim with magic, there is truth to phrase "you are what you eat".
That was exactly how the insect witch had earned that title. For years on end she had eaten nothing but insects; big and small, magical and not, she devoured them all.
At first the changes had been imperceptible, but over time they became impossible to ignore. Now, she looked like a fearsome hybrid of witch and bug, with iridescent wings and eyes with many facets. Whether it bothered her, nobody knew for sure. But as she buzzed around town enthusiastically, many wagered it did not.
