It flitted from darkened corner to darkened corner, this little bat like creature that went unnoticed by most of the passersby that were still out this time of night.
It had not one, but two pairs of wings, and fangs that were almost comically large for a creature this size. While these fangs might suggest a diet consisting out of blood, it was currently in the process of looking for nightmares, the thing it actually fed on.
Sniffing once, then twice, its ears perked up. Quickly it started flying in a beeline towards its next prey.
A sleep paralysis induced nightmare was always a good meal.
