What many did not know (or cared to learn about), was that magic could be grown. Well, in its many material forms, anyway.
This witch carved out a bit of a secret trade in homegrown magic, tucked away on a secluded farm that only few knew how to find. While her customers were few and far between, they were always willing to pay a handsome price for her wares, so she didn't have any trouble surviving.
However, there was one secret crop she hid from even her most loyal of customers. She had planted an ancient grimoire many years ago, and she did not plan on sharing the fruits of it with anyone.
