"That is one expensive amulet. What do you need it for, anyway?"
Her friend shrugged. "It reminds me of my youth. Of my parents. Besides, it's said that there is immeasurable power trapped inside of it. I'd reckon that is worth a lot more money than I ended up paying for it."
She scoffs. "Well, if you don't have enough money left to, you know, survive, don't come running to me."
Her friend just laughed. "I love you too."
"Not as much as that amulet, apparently. You keep looking at it like it's your one true love."
"Don't judge me."
