While growing up, she had always missed having friends. Sure, she had a close bond with her siblings, but that wasn't quite the same, was it?
But now there was finally another woman she could call her friend. They didn't seem to have all that much in common, but somehow there was an understanding and a respect that she had missed so sorely in her life before.
It was a bit frightening, if she thought it through. Scary to think she might have become it bit dependent on someone who wasn't her blood, so quickly.
