Many called her this, but the travel witch was not actually a witch. She was merely lucky enough to be in the possession of a unique magical artifact.
She found this globe at an ordinary flee market, believe it or not. Not yet aware of the existence of magic, she took it home because she simply liked the way it looked, with its painted on renditions of the continents and quaint little mythological creatures depicted in between.
Then one day, while wishing intently she was able to travel more, she suddenly found herself standing in a lush forest that was decidedly foreign. Since then, she had used the globe to travel around the world, even discovering that the creatures pictured on the globe were more than myths after all.
