Instead of flying on a broom, this witch's fingers flew over the keys of a computer. Instead of chanting spells, she wove her magic into code. Instead of being lit by the moon, her face was almost permanently lit up by the sickly green of the screen in front of her.
Yet, even unusual magic wielders like her couldn't be aware of all strange magic there was in the world. Really, there was nothing she could have done to prevent being sucked into an alternate reality completely woven out of code.
And as she felt her magic drain out of her blood, she wasn't sure she could do anything do escape, either.
